16 yr old girl invents cheap, easy, fast ebola test and wins google $50,000 scholarship. Nice article but the last paragraph and picture ruins it all. Can't help but wonder how much Obama had to do with it.

Probably not much, JR. For all their business smarts, Silicon Valley entrepreneurs can be really stupid about realizing that government would just as soon tax them dry and then regulate them out of business. One of the things that got me really POed back in 1992 was the way major high-flying Silicon Valley companies - e.g. Tandem Computers and Silicon Graphics - brought in Bill Clinton to give him visibility with employees (after 3 terms of Reagan and Bush, CA was actually in play).
Maybe if Tandem and Silicon Graphics had paid more and closer attention to what computer users wanted instead of playing kingmaker they might still ... exist!
