Well, Pam finally lost her house and has to move into an apartment.
But our 2010 DUmmy of the Year won't move into just an apartment, it's a penthouse!

WOW Home sold in 7 days Leased the penthouse of a really cool building
Inlaws took the puppies (worst part of this whole process but they are in a great home with LOTS of room for their boxer legs and energy.) We get to go spend time with them.
Lots of changes in the next month.
Packing deciding what to keep for penthouse, what goes in storage.
had a huge yardsale- made over 1500
What didn't sell we donated to goodwill
moving company set up as soon as we get a definite date its all ready to go.
This time next month will be in the new place.
I didn't really want to sell, but now that it has, I am excited.

1. rent will be more than mortgage some utilities less
will be an adjustment on many things.
We have not had close neighbors for 18 years
Have not had to scrape snow and ice for 18 years
the last 18 Christmas dinners have been at my house because we had the only place big enough for 50 or more people Not sure who is going to take over but it will happen.
There is a covered garage but there is a wait list so we could get one in a month...could be 6 months just have to wait
A penthouse!! Parking on the street!!
She doesn't realize that she's put her Greenbriar Lane address on the internet, so anyone can fire up Google Earth and take a look at her little starter.
She might be able to host fifty people if she covered the front and back yards with picnic benches. In the past, she's claimed they all slept at her place. Fifty people. Not in one layer!
Pam was great entertainment in her prime, an elite DUmmy.
Her bragging, her trashy family, her job at the juvie warehouse, her gut rot, it it wasn't one thing, it was another. She was great.
Let's hope she doesn't drop this penthouse storyline.

Not a shithole like how people live in Chicago, New York, and Europe, but still...prime earning years?
And she had to give that up for an apartment.
This "penthouse" (with on-street parking) is not something you'd see in a James Bond movie.
I guess any apartment on the top floor is a penthouse. Hope they have an elevator.
