so I only got 116. My teacher said it would have been closer to 200 if I wasn't so bad at math.

I think you forgot a decimal point in every one of your poll options.
The last time I was tested (Sophomore year in High School) I came out at 147 (Stanford-Binet). I never bothered to get tested again because the truth is IQ tests are pointless, and have virtually no application beyond basic diagnostics. But you Sooper Geeneeusses at DU all knew that, right ?
The same was true with my SATs - I took them once, got a score that could get me wherever I wanted to go, save for maybe MIT or the Ivy Leagues and called it a day.
I also did the MENSA thing. Went to a few parties & a couple of dinners, and quickly realized that it was a bunch of eggheads who believed they were better than the world deserved, and I stopped going. The smugness was thick to the point of stifling. At least half of the people were 'perpetual students' - who were still in college, getting degree after degree while making absolutely no contributions to society.
I just don't see the value in racking up college bills so high that it would take one an additional lifetime of work to pay them all off.
So, yeah.. All this blah-blah-blah about how wicked smaht you all are suggests to me that those of you who really are, are of the same class that the MENSA eggheads belong to, or you are lying. Either way, y'all need to get off of your collective asses and do something productive.

Took IQ test in high school but they wouldn't tell us what we scored.
Always scored well on standardized test and those military/employment placement type test. Now was that because I was super smart or just that I had had a lot of experience in different fields of work/experience.

I don't think there is anything more pathetic than an adult talking to another adult about their respective levels of intelligence. MENSA is not a legitimate organization; it's an organized cry for help. Absolute belief in one's opinions and convictions to the exclusion of any other opinion or belief is not a sign of intelligence; it's a measure of the scale of a particular sort of asshole.

I don't want to know. The other day my husband asked me to put new shoelaces on a pair of his shoes and insisted I was to lace them in a particular way, to examine another pair and do it just like that. Well, it took me about ten minutes to figure out. A young chimp or small child could've completed this task in a few minutes. I'm assuming IQ tests judge you harshly if you can't quickly tell which thing goes in what hole and so on, so I say my IQ is beer, and I say the hell with it.

All my life, I've stayed away from this "intelligence versus stupidity" issue, because intelligence seems a vague, ambiguous, slippery thing, and....situational. It seems to vary upon the time of the day, one's mood, one's environment, what one's doing, and who one's with.
I suspect it varies widely, within one person within one day.
I'm reasonably sure franksolich is intelligent, but it's nothing I have about which to be proud.
It's a gift that's been bestowed upon one, not something one worked for and developed oneself.
It's like me being vainglorious about my thick, luxuriant dark brown hair that refuses to change color even with age. God gave me that hair; I didn't create it myself.
On the other hand, I'm sort of vain about the body because one has to work at keeping in good shape; it's not a gift that happens by itself. One has to rigorously deny and deprive oneself, to stay in shape. So it's fine to boast about that, because it's mostly the results of one's own efforts.
Even if franksolich had the IQ of an Einstein--which while not likely is more likely than in O'Dorko's case, for example---it'd be nothing to brag about, because it was given me, not made by me.
On the other hand, it's okay for me to be vain about how I use that intelligence, my skillful artistry in extricating myself from difficult people or embarrassing situations, because that's something that over time I developed and fine-tuned myself.

I have a slightly different take: I am willing to stipulate that the DUmmies have the IQs they claim to have. Fine: you people claim to have IQs of 120+, which puts you standard deviations above normal people. All right, I give: you have native intelligence, DUmmies.
What do they DO with it? So far as I can tell, they're a collection of addled, addicted, enraged, indignant, put-upon, impoverished whiners and failures. Why can't our intellectual superiors carve out satisfying lives for themselves? Why can't they employ their superior intellects to earn sufficient money to obviate reliance on the government? And if being wealthy isn't a desirable consequence of supra-normal intelligence, then where are their inventions? Award-winning novels? Trenchant, immersive blogs? Plays? Scripts? Textbooks? Charitable foundations?
One would think that a group of progressives with supra-normal intelligence would at least form a think tank with elegantly researched and executed policy documents. In reality, DU is larded down with people like TorchtheWitch begging for money because she's too old and ugly to shake her tits for cash (why would an Einstein-level intellect need to do that, anyway?). Golly, I'd think such intelligent people could at least cooperate to form a collective that would make the world better and more progressive. Instead, they end up banning all the actual black people and leave assholes like Randy as the arbiters of all matters of race.

That's a debatable issue; I've found it more so, based upon my first-hand and up-close experiences with primitives, that they more just assume if someone's moderate or conservative, they're just stupid, period--I've agreed with primitives on a few things, and a fat lot of good that ever did me, because even though I agreed with them, franksolich was still considered stupid.
I don't know where the primitives are trying to come from, judging people's intelligence; it's sort of like a cat evaluating a watermelon.
