Does anyone know if the crystal type cat litter is any worse for the environment than others?
Because this stuff rocks.
Dries the turds to bark really fast. And the urine just disappears.
This has to be sorcery.

1. Yeah, cool, isn't it?
I'm using it in my new cat's box and wow it's so much easier to use and maintain.

4. Lucky people whose cats don't object to the crystal type
Mine refused to use it, instead choosing to hold it in.
Never again!

5. I use litter made from corn
Brand name is World's Best Cat Litter. Safe for septic tanks. You can flush it right down the toilet.
Odor control is okay, but not superior. Of course, it would help if the cat actually covered his poop rather than just distributing it on top of the litter. Pee clumps and makes for an easy cleanup.

Oh, no, DUmmy. You need to get rid of that stuff. It causes global cooling warming climate change!
Instead, get 150 packets of Pop Rocks. Fill the litter box with the Pop Rocks. Your cat will thank you!

:rotf: I'll have to get my daughter to try that with her cat! :rotf:

The nice thing about indoor cats is that the owner grows accustomed to the odor.
It only gags visitors.

Oh hey now, don't broadbrush there! I use Blue crushed walnut litter for my 8 cats, shovel the boxes four or five times a day and as a result none of my visitors even KNOW I have cats until one of them ambushes them. :-)

Use Rice Krispys. When Fluffy uses the box, you hear "Snap-Crackle-Poop".
Ya Ya I'm going to my room now.

Your cat didn't just "hold it in". It went somewhere you can't find it.

Iit's probably in the soap dish. :)

Since primitives never clean their house, they'll never find the cat's surprise.

Good reminder, sir.

Good reminder, sir.
I've had the misfortune of finding a cat surprise in a primitive's home.
The primitive was too lazy to keep the cat box clean, and so the cat found an area that it deemed clean enough (in a corner behind a couch), and used it for God knows how long. I had to move the couch for something, and so I did. Then, there it was: a mountain of cat shit- I estimate enough to fill a three gallon bucket. The other odors emanating from the rest of the unclean house concealed the cat's surprise.
What did I do? I pushed the couch back, and went about my business. That was about two years ago. My guess is that it's still there.

I use the pine pellets that's used for horse bedding. Best litter I've ever used. I only have one that goes in the house now, though. He'll go outside too but he's 17 years old and prefers to stay inside.

I never tried pine. But I can swear by the walnut pellets. I don't have any horses though. My cats are all homebodies. Even the ones who sneak out with the dogs are hanging out in the backyard crying to be let back in ten minutes later. Buncha pussies. :lmao:
