75. Well, there is RightWingNeanderthalDwellingPlace.com.
Which is full of psychopaths. (Said the poster from a site that makes a convicted pedophile a mod)
And I mean that very literally. If a DUer has passed away, they'll post a thread mocking the deceased DUer. These are incredibly creepy people. They are psychopaths. There's probably only about 20-25 regular posters over there, but there is something very mentally wrong with them. (Our mockery is directly proportional to the hypocrisy [oops - 'hypocracy'...there, get it?] and nastiness of the dead DUmmy, plus I am sure there is an undercoat of lingering dismay at the thousands of posts YOU people make ridiculing and disrespecting the lives of dead people you don't like. We're psychopaths? You want me to collect the Dick Cheney death fantasies from DU? I know, I know: but Deadstone was GOOD, and Reagan was EVIL. So sayeth DU.)
Whereas a site like Free Republic--much as the mindset over there is frequently extreme and sometimes laughable--appears to exist for the purpose of political discussion, RightWingNeanderthalDwellingPlace.com appears to exist solely for the purpose of obsessing over the daily postings here at DU. They'll love to glom onto frequent DU posters, mocking them, creating idiotic nicknames for them, and yes, celebrating their misfortune, illness and even death.(Ah, yes. Idiotic nicknames like, oh, Chimpolini. Chimperor. Caribou Barbie. Oxyrush. Insannity. Chimpy McCokespoon. Bushitler. Darth Cheney. KKKarl. Crispy Christie. Rmoney. I know, I know: but those are FUNNY, and ours are MEAN! So sayeth DU, the site that openly and gleefully ridiculed the young children of Rick Santorum. By the way, what does 'santorum' mean on DU? Nevermind. We already know. )
Who in their right mind does that? Yes, sometimes during a major event, someone will post Free Republic's reaction over here, but it's not as though we obsess over individual Freepers and their daily postings or lives. Take any sports rivalry, and I doubt very much fans of one team will create a board solely to obsess over individual fans of the rival team.(If you people allowed dissent, it is arguable that CC and/or CU wouldn't even exist. Your reactions to major events cause the mockery that hurts your little heart. 9/11? LIHOP or MIHOP. The Challenger explosion? Bush did it. 2008 elections? Sure to be canceled. I don't think the Big Guy (who is dying) should delay his death rattle out of consideration for Tawana Bravenak.
Despite his mistaken belief that it's a big deal, the Big Guy (who is dying)'s death will create hardly a ripple at the DUmp.
One or two threads, and then someone will insult Bernie or the Hildebeast and the loonies will erupt in another direction.
Unfortunately, it's unlikely to happen until late in the Hildebeast's second term.
