South Dakota's only abortion clinic closes its doors for now
A state law that requires abortionists to inform women – before an abortion – that the procedure "will terminate the life of a whole, separate, unique, living human being" apparently has done what no other pro-life protest has been able to accomplish – the closure of Planned Parenthood's abortion facility.
Today was the day for a federal court ruling affirming the South Dakota law to take effect, and as usual pro-life protesters gathered from several different organizations at the Sioux Falls Planned Parenthood business, as did several women who apparently had appointments.
However, a spokesman for the protest groups said no abortionists arrived and the women left after being counseled by the pro-lifer sidewalk counselors.
"I think Planned Parenthood cannot figure out a way not to comply with the law," said Dr. Allan Unruh, who with his wife has been integral in South Dakota's Vote Yes for Life campaign.

This makes my skin crawl. I can only hope the women there can go to another state and get one, and avoid being forced to undergo dangerous and illegal procedures.
franksolich has a question.
How come the Planned Parenthoodlums can't comply with this law?
It should be as easy as strawberries-and-cream, informing patients what abortion is. There's nothing that prevents an abortion from being performed in this law; all other medical procedures require the dispensation of information about what the particular procedure is, and its consequences, good and bad.

4. I remember warnings in the Minneapolis City Pages a decade ago about the de facto end to abortion due to clinics closing and providers retiring. I think the MN branch of PP was also linked to the Dakotas?
The statistics on how far women would actually have to go for an abortion (distance and time) in rural areas is sobering.
South Dakota is a large state with a small population.
People in South Dakota are used to driving a couple of hundred miles to get groceries.
If they find driving a couple of hundred miles to get groceries tolerable, South Dakotans seeking to kill an infant shouldn't have any problem driving a couple of hundred miles to an abortion mill.
The warped primitive shows her malevolently grotesque side:

6. I wish all medical professionals within that state would stop giving medical care to anyone who voted for this idiocy.
Antibiotics for an infection kill genetically unique separate individuals.
Removing a hot gallbladder or appendix removes billions of genetically complete human cells.
Relieving pain thwarts the will of the god who ordained they have that pain.
My guess is that the right wing bastards would start to come around pretty fast.

Yeah, well I wish you and your smelly, skanky, baby murdering ass would move to Canada, but we can't always have what we want.

franksolich has a question.
How come the Planned Parenthoodlums can't comply with this law?
Because the law forces the evil ones to deliver a sermon about the ugly truth of their deeds. They cannot bring themselves to utter the words. Now they are out of business.
The DUmmies don't give a crap about whether or not abortions are available in South Dakota. What boils their pus-filled veins is the realization that Goodness, Christ, and conservatism won and they can't do a darn thing about it. Notice how one of them wants good people to suffer and die because the baby killers are out of business?

Well, my deal is, how is this any different than tobacco companies having to put those health warnings on packages and cartons of cigarettes?
They really don't want to.
But at the same time, such warnings have little or no effect on people smoking cigarettes.
And so I doubt labelling what abortion is, prior to the abortion, is going to cut down on infanticide.
As you said, sir, the abortion industry doesn't want to admit what its business does.....but I'll bet you the abortion industry is going to be screaming about restrictions on a woman's "right" to "choose" because of this law mandating clear and accurate information.....when in fact this law does nothing to prevent an abortion profiteer from pursuing his business.

If the abortion advocates are so certain that it's nothing more than a medical procedure, a removal of cells, why the fuss? Afraid someone might actually, hmmm, I don't know, make a CHOICE? Isn't that what they support after all? How can you make a CHOICE when you don't know all of the options and facts?
Yes, I know the answers to my questions unfortunately.

Abortion is just one more issue dear to a liberal's heart which is steeped in hypocrisy. They claim to be the ones who care about people, yet they do not care about the littliest people in pre-birth stages of development. Liberals claim to care about protecting the individual's reproductive "choices", yet they don't give a damn about a father's choice.
Every issue a liberal pretends to stand for requires suspension of reality and denial of inconvenient circumstances. In other words, it's all a big fat lie.
Today, right here TODAY, I have read how liberals/DUmpmonkeys are all behind the "world court" demanding the state of Texas not execute known coldblooded murderers because these murderers were supposedly not furnished with information which may have played a part, by law, in their circumstances. To the liberal/DUmpmonkeys, this is a most grievous travesty.
But yet these same liberal/DUmpmonkey and their ilk cannot abide a law which gives pregnant women who are about to make a decision to murder their own child the same advantage of knowledge. How do they reconcile their "beliefs"? How can they stand up in the world with a straight face and pretend to be sincere and righteous?
Liberal hypocrisy knows no bounds and has capacity for guilt. They think we are all fools like they are fools.

Abortion is nothing more than the current, modern iteration of one more Democrat - especially "Progressive" democrat - policy of infamy - Eugenics.
Margaret Sanger, the founder of the organization that eventually became Planned Parenthood, was a rabid racist ("raceologist" they called themselves back then) and made no bones about the reasons she advocated Eugenic sterilizations and widespread birth control; to control and reduce the population and reproduction of "unfit races", especially blacks. Looking at the abortion statistics today, her program is succeeding far beyond her wildest expectations. For about 18% of the American population, blacks account for 37% of abortions performed in America. Getting down to specific states, the number gets even larger: in Mississippi, for example, black women have over 70% of the abortions in that state. Overall, better than 56% of all black pregnancies end in abortion.

I guess Warpy only supports one kind of choice for women... he/she/it surely doesn't support any woman who chose to vote for full disclosure. :mental:
