House GOP Can Pursue Obamacare Lawsuit, Judge Says

House Re­pub­lic­ans can pur­sue their law­suit against the Obama ad­min­is­tra­tion over its im­ple­ment­a­tion of the Af­ford­able Care Act, a fed­er­al court said Wed­nes­day.

Judge Rose­mary Colly­er of the U.S. Dis­trict Court for the Dis­trict of Columbia said the House has leg­al stand­ing to sue the ad­min­is­tra­tion over the way it fun­ded one of the health care law’s sub­sidies.

The rul­ing is a sig­ni­fic­ant set­back for the White House, which had tried to get the House Re­pub­lic­ans’ law­suit dis­missed, ar­guing that the chal­lengers were ask­ing the courts to settle a simple polit­ic­al dis­pute.

House Re­pub­lic­ans au­thor­ized the leg­al chal­lenge on be­half of the House as an in­sti­tu­tion, ar­guing that the ad­min­is­tra­tion ac­ted il­leg­ally when it fun­ded the health care law’s cost-shar­ing sub­sidies, even though Con­gress had not ap­pro­pri­ated money for the pro­gram.

But will they aggressively pursue the case or just let it wither away?

This is nothing more than just smoke and mirrors and a three ring circus side show to divert attention from the Iran nuke deal that Boehner and the rest of the RINO's are caving to.

Agreed, no one with any real power in congress wants deathcare overturned.
