Is Trump mentally ill?
I was posting elsewhere how I feel Charlie Sheen is (it was a discussion about Sheen being Trump's running mate). But it's an even more pertinent question about Trump. He claims he uses no stimulants, not even coffee, yet he's totally wired all the time, talking a mile a minute and disjointedly. He's also incredibly self absorbed. Narcissistic personality disorder has been mentioned but does that fully cover it? Could he be perpetually manic as well? I'm bipolar though not prone to mania so not an expert, but it seems that electing someone prone to delusional thinking who is untreated is very dangerous.
OTOH the majority of the Rs are delusional to varying degrees and they can't all be bipolar.

2. Trump's policies are what suck. Don't stigmatize people with mental illness.

4. As I have become more and more aware of the evils of
our neoliberal capitalist system, I've come to believe that there is something very strange about these billionaires. I'm sure we will all agree that it takes a certain kind of person to systematically acquire billions of dollars. It begins, if you like, with Rockefeller, who was asked how much more he needed, and replied, "Just a little bit more."
Statistics say the happiest people in the USA earn around $70K per year. Earn much less and you have the stress of uncertainty in making ends meet. Earn much more and you have the stress about it being somehow taken away from you.
In short, I think most billionaires are neurotic, and many are pathological. Trump definitely is. Think about one of the things he says often: "These aren't nice people. They are KILLERS!"
This gives us real insight into how his mind works, and at the very least I'd say he's narcissistic and a bit paranoid. As to being 'wired' all the time, I'm not sure.

23. Narcissistic Personality Disorder Symptoms
Does Trump Obama fit the following? I would think so.
In order for a person to be diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) they must meet five or more of the following symptoms:
Has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)
Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
Believes that he or she is “special†and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)
Requires excessive admiration
Has a very strong sense of entitlement, e.g., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations
Is exploitative of others, e.g., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends
Lacks empathy, e.g., is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others
Is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her
Regularly shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes
Period.

Why would someone stress about "it being somehow taken away from you" ?
Like when libs say "tax the rich" ?
There is no "somehow".
Libs know exactly how to take the producer's wealth from them.
They are expert at taking from the makers to give it to the takers.

Somehow, I'd really love to hit the lottery and worry about it being taken away. Just once, I'd like to test myself.

23. Narcissistic Personality Disorder Symptoms
Does Trump fit the following? I would think so.
Perhaps you should look at your own dear leader first. He can out narcissist anyone on the planet.
In order for a person to be diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) they must meet five or more of the following symptoms:
Has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)
Donald Trump:
Has built hotels, casinos, golf course, skyscradpers.
Empire that provides jobs for 1000's around the world
Trump Tower
The Apprentice
I'm pretty sure this qualifies as "commensurate achievements"
0bama:
"...this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on Earth. "
"I'm proud of saving the American economy."
"Internationally, I'm proud of the fact that we've responsibly ended two wars."
I am very confident that America is stronger, more prosperous, safer, and more influential today than it was when I took office."
The sick are going to the doctor less now than before 0bamacare because they can't afford copays and premiums.
Won't even comment on the rise of oceans slowing & planet healing because it speaks for itself
The Middle East is on fire, wars are breaking out everywhere, ISIS is filling the vacuum left by 0bama's retreat, he's all but handing Iran nukes, draws red lines that aren't just crossed but stepped on & he's Russia's bitch.
We're a ****ing laughingstock.
Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
How many court orders has 0bama defied? Not to mention "I have a pen and a phone."
Believes that he or she is “special†and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)
Associates with: JayZ, Beyonce, George Clooney, Anna Wintour, Tom Steyer, George Soros
Honorable mention: taking selfies at Nelson Mandela's funeral
Requires excessive admiration
Typical pose when he's not feeling the love:
Has a very strong sense of entitlement, e.g., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations
Lavish White House parties with the "in" crowd, spends more time playing golf than being president, excessive vacations
If he doesn't get his way with congress he just writes executive orders. See: ordering ICE to not comply withe the law, EPA regulations where no one was consulted, sicking the IRS on Tea Party groups (i.e. ordinary citizens)
Is exploitative of others, e.g., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends
People (especially children) are mere props:
He used his own daughters to promote the equal pay bullshit
Surrounding himself with children & victims of gun violence and families from Newtown to push gun control
According to Denver police they were practically forced to stand behind 0bama while he pushed his gun grabbing agenda
All these are minor when compared to Fast and Furious: He practically blackmailed gun shops into participating in the sale of guns to Mexican drug lords, DELIBERATELY insuring innocent people would be killed. Again, to push his anti gun agenda. He knew people would ****ing die! He counted on it. We have a border patrol agent whose family is still being ignored.
Lacks empathy, e.g., is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others
Selfies at funerals anyone?
Deliberately lied about "if you like your plan, you can keep your plan" & "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor". How can you possibly empathize with people when you deliberately lie to people about something so critically important to them?
Or using the shooting of black (thug) teens to stir up tensions between them & the police. They destroy their own neighborhoods and police are now targets. Has he told anyone to knock it off? Of course not, he doesn't care about dead black teens or dead cops. A situation that doesn't exist is being framed to fit his narrative.
Is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her
Regularly shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes.
Period.
He actually said, "It’s almost as if they take pride in being ignorant.†The subject: proper tire inflation
His snarky lecture of Romney about Russia (hint: Romney was right)
NEVER takes responsibility for anything, even 0bamacare, which even many on the left knows is an unmitigated disaster
He's never around when there's a crisis but is quick to pretend he's in charge when he thinks it will benefit him
"So, the majority of folks will end up being better off, of course, because the website’s not working right. They don’t necessarily know it..."

You know, when a DUumbass is against something, in this case Trump's policies, you know it would be a good thing for America.

Hmmm... it is starting I see. One can deduce what bothers the libs the most by watching the canary in the coal mine... so to speak. The GOP primary is the coal mine and the dump is the canary.
To understand the libs one must understand page 1 of the liberal playbook. The number one thing the book says is that the libs must marginalize anything/anyone that prevents their goals. The best way to do that is to ridicule it so it will be ignored. Once ignored, it will go away.
The conclusion I draw is that the Trump campaign has the libs scared shitless. They have tried the misogonist angle, Trump threw it back in their face and his poll numbers went up. They tried the racist angle, it rolled off his back and his poll numbers went up.
Failure on two tried and true angles. What to do, what to do? So the libs have decided to put out the angle that Trump is mentally ill. They tried the same thing with Reagan and it failed. I think this angle will fail also.
Nothing better than lib failure. I'm betting that the libs in general, the dump specifically, will become more desperate as time rolls on... assuming Trump's poll numbers stay pretty high. I am not a Trump fan by any stretch of the imagination... I just like it that he seems to have a teflon coating for whatever the libs and MSM throw at him.
Anything or anyone that causes them angst makes me happy.
