Shocking details emerge on professor who teaches 9/11 course at UNC

Late last month, The College Fix reported on a class at UNC Chapel Hill that explores the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks from the perspective of radical Islamists and those who view America as an imperialist nation. Moreover, none of the assigned books in “Literature of 9/11†viewed the attacks from perspective of Sept. 11 victims’ families.
On Sunday, The New York Post published an update of sorts to our reporting in an op-ed titled “Colleges brainwash students into believing 9/11 was our fault.†The column identifies a scholarly paper written by the professor who teaches “Literature of 9/11.â€

Except for select private schools, christian schools and the like, I don't know of any public school, be it elementary, middle school, high school or college that is not liberal. Not only have the text books been re-written to change American history to instill anti-American attitudes and lack of patriotism in our kids but they are "dumbing down" our students as well. Common Core is a prime example.
When I was in high school American Government, American History and American Literature were required in order to graduate. Those courses were a year long and along with those we had to take 4 years of English along with 4 years of a foreign language which didn't have to be Spanish.
It is a travesty that our educational system has been geared towards the demise of our Republic. Unfortunately, the cost of private schooling is unaffordable to most and most parents can't afford to stay home to home school their children.

Most states either have state government committees that vet textbooks and choose which textbooks must be used or specify which other states' approved textbooks may be used. So liberal POVs get forced into textbooks, defining what may be taught, from what POVs. Parents may want to correct what their children learn, but the schools have their children for the most and best hours of the children's day, and sending the children to the government school communicates a powerful message to the children, that the school is trustworthy and knowledgeable.

If morality is as relative as these assburgers suggest then we are at moral liberty to give them the beatdowns they so richly deserve.
