...punch yourselves one time in the face.
GO!
For everybody else who always knew all this "equality" bullshit was just bullshit so their tribe can extinguish your tribe: Congratulations for not falling for their bullshit.

These men's rights activists are using a 1950s law to shut down women in tech
http://news.yahoo.com/this-california-law-is-helping-men-213035804.html
The lawyer sounds like a real piece of work.
Stephanie Burns came up with the idea for Chic CEO, a free online platform for female entrepreneurs, in 2008, when she was getting her MBA. Many of her friends had lost jobs in the recession and were asking her for tips on how to start their own businesses. After hosting about 15 friends at her San Diego home to exchange advice, Burns realized there was a market for offering entrepreneurial guidance to women. A year later, she launched her company.
Up until 2014, the focus of her work involved providing practical business advice to women in the form of free, easy-to-follow online materials. Every so often, Burns also organized networking events for women at which attendees could sip cocktails and chat about work. It was to one of these gatherings, held at an Italian restaurant last April in downtown San Diego, that two men showed up.
What happened next would be the fuel for lawsuits against her, her company, the company that her business partner’s husband owned and the restaurant. It would ultimately lead to the demise of Burns’ company, and still threatens to derail the women-in-tech events that have begun popping up in Silicon Valley.
Two men named Allan Candelore and Rich Allison, who had each prepaid a $20 registration fee on the Chic CEO website, tried to enter the restaurant. According to a legal complaint that they later filed with National Coalition for Men president Harry Crouch, Burns turned them away at the door, saying the event “was only open to women.†They took a photo, left the premises, then promptly initiated legal action, turning to a 1959 California law originally written to prevent discrimination against minorities and women.

4. These aren't men.
They're viruses with an appendage. How empty one's life must be to hassle women just because they're women.
Yet, when fags want to buy wedding cakes it's OK to persecute the business owners for being Christians even though religion is a protected class and faggotry isn't.

7. The sad thing is...
We have these types of clowns at DU. About a dozen or so and they tend to run in packs.
If you pay attention you'll know who they are. I can pretty much guarantee one or two will pop up in this thread and that all of them will certainly read it.
They got some kind of antenna that alerts the pack to these kind of posts...MRA being the key letters.
Proglodytes like that little rhetorical trick of pro-active ad hominems to try and cordon off topics where they know their idiocy is indefensible.

8. This is outrageous
This is outrageous.
I will search in vain for the same outpouring of rage over VMI and West Point admitting women. Is it not the same?
Yes, but now women have forced their way into VMI so even-Stevens.

Change this around so it's men refusing entry to women and DU would be up in arms over denied equal rights.
Their feigned outrage is selective. I wonder what it's like to be one of them and wake up every morning with their panties in a wad (applies equally to men and women - NOTE: most men on DU are the girly men type so I don't doubt they wear panties, to show solidarity and stuff).
Liberals disgust me.

What's good for the goose is ..................................or may some day bite you in the ass.

Liberalism has always been about tyranny and slavery. The elite are liberal and above the law that governs us.
King George was a liberal. Look what he lost.
-
To the left, laws are about advancing a political agenda, not maintaining a civil society/system.
-
Why can't men benefit from this woman's entrepreneurial advice? Maybe they've been hit hard by Obama's economy as well.
Also funny that the one Dummy brought up VMI. Another Supreme Court case where liberal justices made up the law to force those military schools to allow women.

Did the men not sign the promise to raise the toilet seat????

Did the men not sign the promise to raise the toilet seat????
Years ago I went to visit my brother and his wife. I had to go to the bathroom. I came out, sat down and soon my sister-in-law came in and told me I forgot to put the toilet seat down. I told her, "No I didn't, I'm just being sensitive to my needs."
That did not go over well.

As with 'mass shootings', 'unemployed', 'illegal aliens', 'good deal', or 'health care', or a host of other terms, they define 'equality' different than sane thinking rational people.
In this case, the masculinity-averse contingent feels that 'equality' means being able to tell men that they're not to be included, AND lecturing them about 'healthy masculinity':
Vanderbilt University’s Women’s Center will be hosting a week-long event dedicated to lecturing men about what it means to have “healthy masculinity.â€

They made their bed, now it's time ...
Wait! Per the 1 1/2 hour state-mandated anti-sexual harassment training I recently took, completing that sentence might be sexual harassment ... (funny how none of the scenarios in the training were homosexual-on-straight) ...

I used to think that all the depraved and deplorable perverts who were "fighting for their cause of equality" just wanted legitimacy.
But now the truth is all too apparent.
They want superiority.
They want supremacy.

This was a business networking event, not a women's issues event. They paid admission, they should have been admitted. Also, it was in a public Italian restaurant. Aren't you DUmbasses up in arms over your belief that all businesses must serve all people, no matter what? It's discrimination otherwise, you said so yourselves. Hope they win the lawsuit.

It's hard to hold them to their double standards.

Indeed. They want control over everything and anyone, down to the thoughts you *might* think in your own head.

Tyranny, IOW. Another reason for the 2nd Amendment . . .
And they are absolutely aware of that fact, which is why they gnash their teeth over the 2nd Amendment.

DUchebags hate it when their own tactics are used against them.

DUches want equality alright. They want everyone to be just as miserable as THEY ARE..

The Unruh Civil Rights Act. The 56-year-old state law ensures that all Californians are “free and equal, and no matter what their sex, race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, or sexual orientation are entitled to the full and equal accommodations, advantages, facilities, privileges, or services in all business establishments of every kind whatsoever.†Named after Jesse M. Unruh, a popular California Democrat, the act was intended to broaden protections for minorities. In the past, it has been used successfully to argue for a gay individual’s right to be part of the Boy Scouts and for women to take part in a Santa Cruz-based boys’ club.
Important parts in bold. If the DUmmies want to exempt men from the Unruh Civil Rights Act I suggest they amend it but just make sure they get it right this time. If they just exempt men, is it just men or men who are men that like men or men who are not really men but want to be called men and treated like men, all of the above or just some?
