Family of Pier 14 Shooting Victim Kate Steinle to File Lawsuit Against SF Sheriff, ICE
The family of Kate Steinle, who was fatally shot when she was walking along a San Francisco pier in July, plans to file a lawsuit against San Francisco Sheriff Ross Mirkarimi, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and The Bureau of Land Management holding them responsible for her death.
In response to criticism about the city's sanctuary city policy, Mayor Ed Lee issued a statement saying it was never intended to protect "repeat, serious and violent felons."
Since the shooting, four Bay Area counties — Alameda, Contra Costa, San Mateo and Marin — have agreed to notify ICE when inmates flagged by the agency for possible deportation are about to be released, the Mercury News reported.

It won't really hurt those responsible, just the taxpayers....at least the taxpayers are mostly the bleeding heart liberal type.
Now if you could take the money out of the pockets of those responsible..... :-)

The family didn't go far enough in my opinion. They should have included, if they are still alive, those city supervisors who originally approved Sanctuary City status and those that allowed it to continue from the day it was enacted to the day Kate Steinle was murdered by this piece of Illegal Alien trash. They all have the blood of Kate, and any other person, who were harmed by people in the country illegally.

Make it a class action suit for all victims and/or family of victims of violent crime committed by illegal immigrants in sanctuary cities. Include 0bama, Jeh Johnson, all ICE and DHS supervisors, etc. Until they personnaly feel some pain from their decisions, they won't change anything.

Kim Davis was put in jail because she wouldn't do her job and issue marriage licenses to gay couples. All of the government officials from obama on down who have failed to do their jobs by sealing the border and going after illegal aliens are responsible for Kate's murder yet they are running and free without any punishment for their negligence.

I agree they didn't go far enough, OBlamer and his administration should be included, also should be class action to get as many victims and states involved!!!!!
