CHICAGO (Reuters) - Police in suburbs north of Chicago were searching for two armed suspects after a police officer was shot dead on Tuesday in the village of Fox Lake, the Sun-Times and other local media reported.

Trains were stopped, roads were blocked and schools were on lock-down during the widespread manhunt with helicopters and dogs, the reports said.

Almost everyday I hear a cop being killed.  :argh:
