Sanders Should Be A Shoe In For President.
Based on policies Sanders supports he should be a shoe in for President. Sadly I do not think Americans would elect him because the term "socialist" is so toxic. Even though Sanders is really not a socialist he has been tagged that way. Workers would have a much better deal with policies that Sanders supports. But voters cannot get past their phobias about government and pro worker agendas.

The meme higher wages mean fewer jobs and outsourcing overseas seems to work quite well.

Maybe give him that shoe, you should have several not being used.

Hasn't Sanders described himself as a Socialist?  If so, who the **** is ol' Hopalong Bob to deny him that? :thatsright:

Sanders self identifies politically as a socialist. Does Bob also get upset when others self identify in other areas of their life too?

I wonder what conception of language the nitwits have who say "shoe in" or "tow the line".

Yeah, facts are kind of like that.  The only way a sudden marked increase in wages across the board wouldn't work out that way would be under rampant inflation.

That kind of change echoes up and down the supply chain, so the labor inputs to the cost of materials (Which is far and away the lion's share of that cost, once you get the onion completely peeled) as well as the cost of all that 'Last step' labor of somebody doing the final act of selling the finished goods.  That means either there has to be a whole lot less highly-paid American labor going into it, or the price has to go up a Hell of a lot.  It's pretty much a zero-sum game.
