yoohoo, over here... if I might have your attention for a second
the stock exchange shed 588 points after the Chinese market had a really bad day... and so did European markets.
They are blaming a slow down in the global economy. It is not yet clear, but this could be very serious.
Forget the politics (yes Mr. Trump I am talking about you, first out of the gate, not surprising), this might signal a systemic change in neo-liberalism and globalization in general... and that will change the dynamic of politics in ways that will be hard to predict at this point. (Yes Mr. Trump, this will make your case even easier... scary but true)
Now I return you to your previously scheduled fights. Me, well the Guardian live blog might give me a few tummy aches. but hell... glutton for punishment and all that.
You give me a tummy ache just reading that. I need a tums.

2. It's true. This will help Trump, I bet. If we have a worldwide depression
it will all be the fault of President Obama and the Dems in the US Congress.
That's what Trump will trumpet.
"it will all be the fault of President Obama and the Dems in the US Congress"
What do you mean "will be"? It already is.
Look, you're prez and things go good you get the credit. Things go bad, you get the blame. Them's the rulz!

6. I am not sure it is going to get to that point
but it will help regardless.
What this is pointing to is the final crisis of capitalism... there I said it.
nads says we're living in the end times. Oh noes!!!!!
:rotf: :lmao: :rotf: :lmao: :rotf: :lmao: :rotf:
Yes, you did say it. And yes, it's preserved here.

5. I hope the whole economy tanks.
I've been homeless and penniless for so long that I don't care what kind of suffering this economic collapse causes as long as I'm not the only one. I want to break the system. I am a Wrecker from the Old English version of a "Wrecker."
Capitalism is a total failure. The Nukes are the only thing keeping it in place.
Spoken like a true liberal.
OK, that's it. Parties over. nads says the end is near. Just go ahead and surrender to Marx.

14. 2024 is our target year.
We are just trying to hold the center until then. There is a new candidate for that time, one who will change America. He's running as a
Democrat and it won't matter.
I've been toiling at this task for a long time.
The economy tanking only plays into my excellent hand. As a matter of fact...we can't win without an economy collapse.
:whatever:

What the average American liberal, much less the average DUmmie, knows about economics could fit in a thimble without overflowing it. There are some real concerns with an economic slow down coming out of China because their government-banking complex makes ours seem transparent and the only thing anybody has been able to estimate is that the Chinese are outright paying for debt with more debt, unlike our financing debt with debt.
They also have no clue what happens to them, personally, if capitalism collapses. I honestly think they believe they will be the vanguard of some new order.

The crazy bald dwarf has a great track record for spotting apocalypses.
She detects the end of the world every year or so.
She hasn't missed an apocalypse yet.
Last time was when a nut shot that blue dog democrat congresswoman in Arizona.
The one before that was the tidal wave in Japan.

We have crossed the rubicon... folks
I was hoping that they'd tone it down... realizing that yes... they too could be in the gun sights.
Instead we have seen an escalation to the point that no, I don't think it can be dialed down. We are at that point some of us have predicted. Things will now slowly escalate... but they will.
Hope to whoever that I am wrong... but this morning was not a small thing, nor an idiot putting foot in mouth... but a hell of an escalation.
That is all.
Politics is about to take a very nasty turn...

Yeah. They'll be eaten alive long before any of us will, after such a collapse.
I honestly think they believe they will be the vanguard of some new order.
Uh huh. Being in front of the rest of us, they'll be run right over.

Wow! Either that is one really skilled mole or - far more likely, IMO - a Lib/Prog/?? being far more honest than normal. He really captured the bomb-tossing anarchist nihilist character of so much of modern Lib-Prog-ism: he realizes it; he speaks openly of it.
He has nothing to replace what he would destroy, he just wants everyone equally miserable, i.e. as miserable as his failure has made him.

nilesobek - Capitalism is not a failure, you are.

Hence, the need for the Second Amendment. :whistling:

These evolutionary revolutionaries need to re learn the lesson on survival of the fittest. Coach, I am sure you got to see many a happy peasant farmer during your travels throughout the 'Workers Paradise', any of them look disabled, have their inhaler handy, work the fields on their too wide to walk scooter? And, I seem to remember the Commies like to get the teachers and intellectuals out hoe, hoe, hoeing in the first wave too, sort of a re-education camp atmosphere to 'get their minds right'. DUmmies will indeed be in the first wave and first to cave. :rotf:

I was going to say this nutcase thread is remarkable for going on a couple of days with no bloodletting.
It usually doesn't take her more than a few hours to get into a vicious brawl with her fellow DUmpmonkeys.
But then this:

So it's NOT the end of civilization?
Just like it wasn't the other times you predicted it?

77. Since noting facts is not a prediction
by the way the global economy is indeed slowing down. You might want to go correct the IMF on that. I am sure they would like to get your take on that. And the worries of the Chinese economic slowing down are also very real. Care to go correct them as well? After all facts to you are something that do not exist.
It must be grand to live in a fact free environment.
I said in the OP that this was still correction territory. But I like to work with facts.
The other fact I mentioned over the course of the thread is a very real crisis of the economic system. And I did posit that if we saw a second serious crisis it would signal it even more loudly.
But you live in a shark filled fact free world. You got a reputation for adding nothing of significance to any discussion. Hey it's great I guess.
So I am still insignificant and crashing a political campaign? I think you will have a hard time topping that one!
I have no idea what that last part means. It's such dense nadinese I doubt anyone but the nutcase herself knows.
For her, it's just another day on the banks of the Rubicon.

Yeah, that explains why it's China that's pulling everyone over the cliff.
