The bottom line is that most voters don't give a damn about this. It has nothing to do with the issues facing this country.

It's beyond me why it doesn't die because if you look at it from the big picture,
A high ranking public official has staff set up email so they can do their job.
They do their job, life goes on.
Well after leaving that job, some reporters stir up a kerfuffle over classified info that might have been in some of the emails that went to what amounted to a private server.
The government is embarrassed into investigating the matter due to the level of publicity.
The BS fans will crucify this post, that's fine. But ask yourself a few questions:
Is anyone alleging the mail server set up was done by Hillary? No
Is anyone alleging Hillary dictated a private server or any particular technology be used? No.
Is anyone alleging Hillary masterminded or otherwise directed how to pull the emails, clearing the server? No.
Is anyone alleging Hillary was the originator of an e-mail that used classified information? No.
Is anyone alleging Hillary forwarded an e-mail that used classified information that was marked classified? No.
Is anyone alleging the use of private e-mail accounts by others in this job was illegal as those e-mails would be on servers out of the control of staff? No.
Is anyone alleging any damage occurred by use of private e-mails by Hillary or her predecessors? No.
In the end I get it's great theater, fun to hit her over the head with, but it has no possibility of resulting in escalation...none.

Tsaritsa CHILL is stuck in a dilemma created by her own arrogance and paranoia. Those character traits lead her to violate the law, State Department regs, and risk US security. Whether she thought she wouldn't be caught, or thought the genie could be stuffed back into the bottle, here we are.
Tsaritsa CHILL is desperately trying to find a way of staying out of prison, or at least a criminal conviction, while running for POTUS. The only way she's found to achieve the former is the route of endless stonewall, delay, and "investigation". But that keeps her arrogance and illegal actions on or near newspaper front pages and "news" broadcasts' top stories, drowning out however she wants to define "the issues".
That last sentence above is what has DU-folk upset, but they cannot bring themselves to admit that Tsaritsa CHILL got herself where she is by her own actions. So DU-folk resort to their old reliable "solution" to hostile realities, absurd conspiracy theories.
