Yesterday afternoon and up until lunch time today, I was hanging out with my mom, sister, and my NEPHEW! :-) My sister came over with her MIL, who does business in the Atlanta area, so she, Charlie, and our mom drove down to see me early yesterday. We had a girl's day out with manicures and pedicures, with us taking turns watching Charlie.
Then, we had dinner at Carrabba's (didn't work out too well, as Charlie was being fussy, so we ordered our dinner as take-out. ) Hung out at their hotel drinking Mojitos and watching the lil red-headed munchkin's antics. He's gotten so big. He's 23 pounds (he would be heavier, if he wasn't so sick last week), and his red hair is even wavier (and forms the cutest curls when its humid outside). I stayed the night, though it was rough, as Charlie woke up a couple times and let out one of the saddest wails I'd ever heard (he had a very bad nightmare :( ).
Here's one pic, for now, as e-mailing the photos is harder than it should be, with my cellphone (I'll find my USB cable one of these days :whatever: ).

Yep, and I'm about to finish up the last of the 6 pack my mom brought. Woot!
The pic (and future pics) likely won't remain up long, as my sister apparently found out I was posting the pictures, and told me to either delete them within hours of posting, or not post them at all. :bawl:

It's okay. He's a real cutie.
Those mojito thingys are good? I like the real deal, but haven't tried those.

Okay, one more. My favorite picture from this morning, when we were having lunch at Panera Bread... turned out really blurry, but I do have this one.

This is a unique little pacifier, just for teething. Charlie already has 4 teeth, and this pacifier involves sticking ice inside of a soft, netting like material. Charlie, like a lot of us in our family, REALLY loves to suck on ice. ;)

Okay, finally got the photo to cooperate. I had to edit someone out of the photo (would have been a distraction for some of you...although, I'm sure some of you saw the original before I deleted it... :lmao: )

Oh my, what a cute kid!
Love that red hair!
-
Red hair is always an attraction. My mother often said she wanted a red haired boy with blue eyes and freckles. They do make for a cute kid! (I know it's too early for the freckles part :-) )

I hope he's not a stepchild.......................................................................

Thanks y'all. Last time I saw him in person was the Christmas holidays, when he was just 3 months (saw him at Halloween too, when he was only weeks old). So it had been 7 months. :(

Childrens!
Cute kid.
(sorry I'm late :-))

Thanks, Chris! :) I really hope he remains a red head... he seems to have a patch of blond on the back of his head, from when he sleeps. My brother-in-law suggested we shave his head to see if it comes back all blonde. :whatever:
(For being late, you get this :asssmack: ! )

ACC, my hair was more "orange" at his age. I mean it was clearly orange when I was born and turned a darker shade of red as I grew up. And now it's this:

My hair was yellow until four or five.

I don't think I've ever seen a picture of you before, Mia! It's lovely. :)

I hope his does darken. Red and blonde are the only colors in this family. They seem to switch, throughout the generations. Grandmother and grandfather were blonde. My mom, aunts, and uncle are varying shades of red, then all family members of my generation are blondes (with one red head).
Charlie definitely gets his red hair from my mom, who had red hair very similar to yours when she was younger.

Oh, and I know this is sort-of off topic, but my mom's grandmother name is officially "Mia." Since all my grandparents are still alive, and my mom didn't want a typical nickname, she chose that one. :)

:cheersmate: Awesome, spend lots of time with the munchkin!
He's already gone, Vonne. :bawl: They only had enough time to spend one night here, and they left yesterday. :(
I'm this close to beginning a hunt for colleges in Mississippi where I can get my radiography degree AND live close by to them (they're just outside Jackson). :uhsure:

Bah... you just want excuses to Spell M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I all the time... than snicker about it, I'm on to your game
:lmao:

Cute baby! May he become a bunny hater. :evillaugh:

Cuuuuuttttteeeeee!!!!1 He looks like a ton of fun.

Pffpt! Everyone knows it's spelled
M-I-crooked letter-crooked letter-I-crooked letter-crooked letter-I-P-P-I
ACC, it's on the entrance exam :-)

Yep, that he is. He's constantly on the move, having to explore every nook and cranny of the hotel room (had to close the bathroom door, because he REALLY loves to go in there, for some reason. :lmao: )
With Charlie getting that much closer to walking on his own, my sister brought the digital camcorder along, as my BIL was paranoid it would happen this week (they're all back in Atlanta, but will be leaving for M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I (sorry, Vonne  ) on Saturday). I'm hoping my sister took more photos, as Charlie moved too much for my cell-phone camera to keep up. LOL

Mia, I need to bs you just for having the bestest hair ever :hammer:  :-)
ACC, your nephew is super cute! He has really grown since the last pic you posted. I can tell he's into everything now, isn't he? So sweet! Enjoy Auntie ACC :-) :-*

Wow, you look attractive! Got really red hair! :-) Somehow I pictured you as a brunette though. :lmao:
