It's currently 12:04 a.m, I'm laying in bed and out out nowhere I decide to get some music going to put me to sleep. I find a station online which plays 90s alternative rock. Then it hit me out of nowhere, that I am doing the exact same thing I used to do before falling asleep back when I was a teenager. Right now "Counting Blue Cars" by Diswhalla is playing and bringing back memories of summer nights in Alabama walking around the neighborhood with friends at a crazy hour of the night at the age of 12 or 13. We weren't worried about terrible things happening because there was little if anything to be worried about.
I tell you, it's pretty crazy what will kick off a nostalgia trip which will keep you up at night.
