Protesters blocked rush-hour traffic in both directions on Interstate 70 near the Blanchette Bridge in Earth City Monday evening.

Aerial footage from a KTVI (Channel 2) helicopter showed lines of protesters joining hands to block the highway as drivers sat in their cars, or got out to watch and wait. Protesters also set out barricades to help block traffic. One driver nosed an SUV through the line of people, with a protester kicking at the vehicle's door as the SUV pushed against protesters.

Missouri Highway Patrol Sgt. Al Nothum said police departments dispatched troopers and officers to the scene shortly after receving reports of the shutdown. “It's a matter of getting them removed and taking down their barriers,” he said of the protesters.

One year later and riots are coming back again! Same old same old!  :mental: :loser:

FERGUSON • A peaceful day of protest and remembrance dissolved into chaos late Sunday when a man fired multiple shots at four St. Louis County plainclothes detectives in an SUV. The detectives fired back and the shooter was struck, said county Police Chief Jon Belmar. He was in critical condition.

Tyrone Harris identified the victim as his son, Tyrone Harris Jr., 18, of St. Louis. Harris said shortly after 3 a.m. that his son had just gotten out of surgery.

He said his son graduated from Normandy High School and that he and Michael Brown Jr. "were real close."

So much for a peaceful protest.  :mental:

Has Capt. Ron Johnson been called?  We all know he was the savior last time... he is obviously the city's only hope.

Isn't it amazing that we have a black president that has served nearly two terms and during his tenure we have seen more racial tension, riots and civil unrest by the very people who elected him?  Obviously that "hope and change" hasn't worked very well for them.

Or maybe this was the the Change that Obama Hoped for and worked toward!

One-liners aside, if the freeway they chose to block has a few egress points as many freeways do, local authorities should have summoned the political courage and resources to seal off egress point and round up the lot of them. They would eventually get bailed out, but that would burn through the thug-wannabes' and astro-turfers' $$, $$ that would otherwise be used for worse purposes.

And all this for a thug who rushed a cop and tried to take his gun. Reality is lost on these people.

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Police have released surveillance video of a suspect before Sunday night’s shooting during protests in Ferguson. The suspect in the video has been identified as Tyrone Harris.  It appears Harris has a gun in the video.

A release from police states:

Detectives from the Crimes Against Persons Unit have identified the person in the video as Tyrone Harris. The video shows Harris grab a handgun out of his waistband once shots are fired during the protest in the W. Florissant corridor seconds prior to the officer involved shooting.

Harris is charged with ten additional felonies including 1st degree assault on law enforcement officers. He was out on bond for other felony charges. Harris was released on bond for a different felony case, before the August 9, 2015 gun battle.

He was the aggressor. People said this could be the Summer of Discontent and it turned out that way. Ferguson Part 2.

Reality is racist! Evidence is racist! Security cameras are racist! And the race-baiters demanding dash and body cams for police cars and officers are learning that those cameras and their footage are also racist.

Whatever contradicts the narratives of racism is racist!

One large overweight, over width, permitted load behind a semi and the road would be clear....a little slippery maybe but clear.

CLAYTON • A prominent figure in the Ferguson protest movement posted bail late Wednesday afternoon and departed the St. Louis County Justice into the arms of cheering supporters who had just ended a brief demonstration on her behalf.

"It's beautiful," said Brittany Ferrell, accepting hugs from some of the 75 demonstrators who just moments before had locked arms before a small contingent of Clayton police officers positioned outside the South Central Avenue entrance to the jail.

Ferrell, 26, was freed after posting 10 percent of the $10,000 bail imposed after she was charged with felony property damage, trespass and peace disturbance.

How is that civil disobedience working out?  :mental:
