Bernie Sanders has been surging in popularity across the country as his message of economic justice and empowerment of the middle class reaches Americans of all walks of life.
He received a surprising and amusing endorsement from the famous actor Danny Devito, who tweeted on Saturday that:
While the Star Wars reference is pretty great, the tweet does really summarize the quiet desperation that the American public is feeling at the moment- the need for new ideas and policies, but also a deep frustration with the corruption of our political system by dark money and the corporate oligarchs. Bernie Sanders represents a new hope for America. He is the one that could finally bring balance to the dark forces in our politics.
