Anyone remember RIMjob a.k.a. Carlos Miller?
Miller informed the blogosphere of his results -- guilty on resisting arrest without violence. He was found not guilty on disobeying a police officer and disorderly conduct. The prosecutor asked that Miller receive three months probation and pay the court costs, instead Judge Jose L. Fernandez slapped Miller with a one-year probation, 100 hours of community service and $540.50 in court fees.
So what's the first thing he does? OF COURSE! He rows to Skin's Island to start a little bonfire:

My night in jail after photographing police against their wishes
The most humiliating part of my arrest was not necessarily the way the five Miami police officers slammed me down on the hard sidewalk and bashed my forehead against the concrete. Nor was it the way they tightened the handcuffs on me until they cut off the circulation in my wrists. Nor was it the way one officer twisted my right wrist backwards until I yelled out in pain. Nor was it the way an officer threatened to taze me if I did not shut my mouth.
It wasn’t even the way the sergeant taunted me at the precinct by saying, “I don’t know what police department you’re used to dealing with, but this is Miami PD and we don’t put up with that kind of crap here.â€
No, the most humiliating part of my arrest was when I was ordered into a small dark room at the Miami-Dade County Jail and ordered to drop my pants, bend over and spread my cheeks while a jail guard with a flashlight ensured that I was not smuggling any contraband into the jail.

And poor little RIMjob doesn't know when to shut up either. Form his blog:
Judge Jose L. Fernandez, who turned out to have an extreme contempt for me, was unable to answer that question, even though he had asked if I had any questions after the verdict was read.
Instead, Fernandez said I was guilty of obstructing traffic, the single charge the jury was not allowed to rule on because it is considered a traffic infraction and not a misdemeanor charge.
Although prosecutor Ignacio Vazquez was (thankfully) asking for only three months probation and court costs, Fernandez slammed me with one year of probation, 100 hours of community service, anger management class and $540.50 in court costs.
I hate to see what I would have received had the prosecutor asked for jail time and had the jury found me guilty of three misdemeanors instead of one.
Fernandez said something to the effect of “your non-remorse in this case appalls me†as well as laying into me about by body language and demeanor during the trial not to mention the “chit-chat†between me and my “fansâ€, which actually were my aunt and my mom.
He accused me of getting arrested on purpose for the sole purpose of launching a blog and becoming a “heroâ€. He then reminded me that the real heroes are buried in Arlington who fought for my freedoms and suggested that I pay a visit to the cemetery.
Feel free to post your thoughts:

This Carlos Miller character is quite a piece of work.
I thought the part about the rectal examination was hilarious; surely this Carlos Miller character is more worldly than I am (I have never seen the inside of a jail, other than in the socialist paradises of the workers and peasants), and always knew that that is just routine, to be expected, no big deal.
This Carlos Miller character is just a jerk, no redeeming social or personal value.

12. That happened to me, Carlos, after dealing with a schizophrenic person for days, and finally being arrested on his paranoid report of assault with zero visible evidence of an assault or even of any violence whatsoever.
While I was dropping my jeans, the matron cried out when she saw my bruised up carcass and, proceeded to continue the search.
Gotta love our "justice" system.

Did he finish his anger management classes yet? I think he probably needs to a do-over.

How were they able to figure out WHERE the opening was on this giant asshole? I would think it would all tend to blur.

Judge Jose L. Fernandez, who turned out to have an extreme contempt for me
Obviously the feeling was mutual.

Anyone email this to Judge Fernandez yet? I bet RIMjob could be hauled back to face contempt charges.

What a load of horse shit, every ****ing bit of it. I'd put money down that I've had worse service at a McDonalds compaired to how the police handled him when he was arrested.

RimJob was one of their more activist posters.
More Anarchist than Libtard.
He was told not to take pictures by the police...he did it anyway...he paid the price for not following the rules.
And he's not happy about the fact that actions have consequences so he's gone all stalker mode on the judge who sentenced his little @ss.
-
Oh so the Little Goon wants to debate me on this matter.
hehehehe good.

Jerks like Carlos Miller NEED jail time.
Acting like he does and then just walks away with community service.
I wonder how many times he has violated his probation and got away with it?
-
He should be grateful the judge sentenced him to anger management. All that rage damages the body and shortens life span.

Tx, I gave you a H5 for this:
Gotta take that one back and give it to the eloquent man who said it...franksolich.

Oh my.
Carlos doesn't seem to have been too busy lately, causing trouble? Suppose he's where he belongs, in jail?
The latest is from last March, and comes with a photograph of Carlos.

Oh my. If you go to the "home" link on his page, it briefly shows a post from today and then disappears. I was able to click on the one of the earlier posts from last week and it appears that Mr. Miller never learned the first rule of acting as your own legal counsel.
-
That picture of the cops across the top of his page is priceless. He did get a good shot there.
I'll caption the cops from right to left:
"You POS."
"Oh no you DIH-int!"
"I am SO going to enjoy kicking your ass."
"DUmmy knucklehead, meet Mister Elbow."

When I look at what "guests" are viewing, it looks fishy. They are so random and obscure, it makes me think a lot of the "guests" are some kind of computer bot or glitch.
-
I get a bunch of those at LibertyFic, I can't see actual stats and suff but when a guest is viewing an empty forum for an hour, its gotta be a bot.
Something in that thread is attracting a lot of bots for some reason.
-
I'm not sure it's a bot. What if it's a bunch of DUmb**** lurkers?

Beats me. My guess is that the words "Primitive from the Past" has aroused a lot of curiousity on the island. It's Occam's Razor.

I think it is because it references rim jobs.

First time I have seen this thread----much to think about.
Before camera phones there had to have been over a thousand times in my life when I would see something and wished I had a camera.
I today have a camera phone but in a time of stress or the unexpected, I forget I have it to use.
This has to be a mind set for those who use their phones and the camera every day to talk or text. Mine sits in my purse for emergency's only and only used a few times for checking on Mom when the power goes out, once when I got a flat tire to call AAA.
Everyone from a 5 year old up to people in their 90's seems to have one, and the law in my States says that one can photograph ANYONE who is in public view, ---This includes the right to stand on your private property and take pictures into the homes of neighbors if the inside can be seen from the street or by the public.
It is a new world out there folks, that Ad about identity theft that tells us when writing a check or giving indent from a drivers license, to make sure the person standing in line behind you is not photographing any of your transaction with a camera phone,
Photographing or recording our police has become a problem for them, makes them more aware of their actions. They have cop car cams that in some cases works against them.
There are security cameras EVERY Where, on buildings, sides of homes, inside homes. Traffic cameras, convenience stores up to the malls and each store within.
The police have the right to order people to move on for the safety of the people or themselves, but do they have the right to order people to stop filming a police action ???
When the police tell people they can stand and watch but not document what ever is going on, what are they afraid of.??
This is only going to become more confusing as technology puts in the hands of civilians a method to sort out all the confusion that may give false memory's or complete blank outs on crucial minutes.
I remember a 7 year old boy who went to visit a friend and a pedophile attempted to lure him to his truck. The boys father had given him his cell phone to call home and after the boy got away from the Perv took a picture of the Pervs licence plate. The police tracked down the owner and found he was wanted for molesting young kids in 3 States.
Now if you ask me, in that situation most Adults would not have had the wits to do that.
This guy in question complaining about his arrest, makes me wonder if HE didn't set this whole thing up like that Dave24 in my state does just to push the limit.
Perhaps as the judge said, this guy is just looking to promote questionable behavior from the police, sort of like poking a sleeping bear with a stick.
