Conservatives Are Turning Against FAUX News
Megyn Kelly and FAUX News Facebook pages getting hammered right now.
FreeRepublic is up in arms: http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3321643/posts
I'm sure Rush Limbaugh will be joining the fray tomorrow as well.
Rupert Murdoch thought he was in control of his brood, but he let loose a Frankenstein monster.
Donald Trump IS going to run third party when he gets shoved out of the race by the GOP Establishment.
We're looking at another 1996 situation folks. Democratic electoral landslide worse than Clinton v. Dole.
Yeah.... not so much.

1. I have to agree Faux fell flat on its face it came to bury Trump and it buried itself .......He knew they weren't going to play fair so he threatened them with his Independent run
Bush and Walker were suppose to be the winners but Faux screwed up royally

2. I was just going to post this.
Wingnuts are furious. There are over 10,000 comments on the Fox Facebook page and every single one is some version of "You were mean to Trump!!! You suck!!!" Megyn Kelly has 5000 comments on her page-same thing.
I'm no Trump fan (understatement of the year) but right out of the gate I said to my husband, "I don't believe they ambushed him like that. They're trying to take him out." I mean, I figured they would do that but not so blatantly. I think (I hope, I hope) it's going to backfire.
I love the smell of furious wingnut in the morning. Smells like victory.

4. After Bush and Palin I suppose I shouldn't be surprised by anything that appeals to Republicans...but I am really surprised by this Trump popularity.
It's nuts.
I think the people like Trump because he comes off and natural and non-politician. He has got teh outsiders vibe going both G.W. and Sarah had as well. The fact that Trump is saying exactly the same things as a large majority of conservatives is a huge issue.
Of course... it's a long way to the election. Hillary might not even make it and who do the Dem's have?
Slow Joe.

11. Yes.
I laughed at Reagan. Look at what happened.
The rich SOBs screwed up when they set the tea party loose on everyone. They could not control it. Now they have politicians and candidates like Trump, who are too loony for them, uncontrollable, and turning on them.
Trump will not be used by them. He is no more controllable than their tea party. If he does not get what he wants, he will wreck everything in sight.
I worry that he might win. Or, this might be a time when the women's vote will save us. Women cannot possibly like Trump. He is very open about seeing women as objects. (Maybe Rosie O'Donnell can be Hillary's veep)?
What these angry Trump supporters do not see is that they are angry about the wrong things and the wrong people. They vote against their own interests. They hate immigrants and black people, when the white banksters are the ones they should be turning against. We have all lost the same things, and we should be working against the repubbies and the people like Trump.
DUmp monkie states why she doesn't get it while she doesn't get it.

15. I can't understand what Republicans see in Carson.
Many of those interviewed afterwards - by Luntz and on CNN- were so taken with Carson.
I have to admit I missed his closing statement - I just had to take a break from all the vacuous statements being made- but saw nothing to recommend him up to that point.

17. The Luntz focus groups was the worst example of a hit job
I've seen since Kerry and the media's indulgence of the Swift Boaters.
There really is no difference between Faux and state-controlled papers in China and Russia.
...says the people who support state run papers...

DUmmie says, "The rich SOBs screwed up when they set the tea party loose on everyone.".....the GOP didn't set anyone loose, the people rebelled against the GOP establishment....I thought liberals liked people that railed against the establishment?

Excepting of course when they're the "establishment."
I don't think the old hippies and the primitives get it. The "man" was overthrown, tossed out, about 1974, with Watergate, after which the Democrats, liberals, and primitives took over everything--and I mean everything, from government to bureaucracy to academia to education to popular culture to the media.
That was a long time ago, that the "man" was toppled.
Since then, the old hippies, Democrats, liberals, and primitives have been running things; they've been the establishment for some time now.
We're the rebels, the anti-establishmentarians, the iconoclasts, the counter-culture, and it's high time the stuck-in-the-mud primitives acknowledged it.

Dead on. H5 earned.

Dead on. H5 earned.
I mean, think of it.
Look for example at our good friend and colleague JohnnyReb.
Decades ago, generations ago, it was considered a "good" thing to have a kid in the Boy Scouts.
Now it's "bad."
That JohnnyReb let his son join the Boy Scouts was practically an act of sedition in today's society--as is going to church or being monogamous or working for a living or being neat and trim in appearance or joining the military or &c., &c., &c.
Yep, JohnnyReb's a rebel, an anti-establishmentarian, an iconoclast, in the same tradition as the counter-culture hippies of the 1960s.

Racist DUmmie. Bet it only likes Obama's white half.

Overreact much DUmmies? I don't go to FR, but no clue what people are saying there. The clips I have heard seem to me like it was a productive debate. And it is only August, 7 months from the first caucuses & primaries.
The Democrat ones will be far more vicious. I shall enjoy the schadenfreude of laughing at those.

If they can actually pull it together and have a debate. Guess you have to figure out which candidate doesn't have criminal records or probes with the FBI to do that though.

Their inability to see the stupid in that simply confirms what we have know since day one.
I'm still waiting for my "rich guy call". :whistling:
....any day now, I'm sure.

Every time I see a comment or thread with the word TOAST, I can't help but think of ToastedTurningTideLegs.
Anyone heard from that most cherished member of the cave ?

FOXNEWS SCORES RECORD RATINGS
Twice the ratings of the 2012 primaries.Fact is the GOP candidates will get massive attention from the public with lots of debates.
The rats are only having 6 debates and they just pushed those back another 10 weeks. and it's all to protect Hillary's coronation.
Who's the toast here?
-
But why hang your hat on a boorish, arrogant clown like Trump?
He makes Ross Perot look like a statesman.
Say hello to President Hildebeast and a socialist Supreme Court.
Embarrassing and tragic if it happens, but he's still the longest of long shots.
He's not serious. To him it's just another reality show.

Rush had just mentioned that 24 million watched the debate. Wow! For an August night, people are usually out enjoying the weather, etc. That is pretty amazing.

Between the 5pm and 9 PM debate, the Dummies watched about 6 or 7 people who would annihilate Hillary in a debate, and yet they think we are Toast. Comical.

Hell, of all of the candidates, I think George Pataki did the worst. Even he showed that he could beat Hillary in a one-on-one debate.

One of the Fox commentators today, Jonah Goldberg used the phrase "crouton on a word salad".
I have been watching Fox for more years than I have been a member here.
I have never heard that phrase used by anyone at Fox, Jonah, his Mother, or in any of their writing that I know of going back at least 15 years.
The first place I heard the term is on this forum in relation to coach franksolich's cousin, nadin.
I am wondering if they are borrowing a term that was coined here without attribution.
I also wonder if someone on the Fox team is lurking on our forum.

47. Wasn't that ridiculous? I see no skills in Dr. Carson that would
recommend him as head of the Executive branch of the US government and Commander-in-chief of the military.
From a fan of this putz:

Take it easy there Barry. Don't strain yourself. Between all the damage done (down there) by Reggie Love and all that weight you're hoisting, you might give yourself a rectal prolapse.
