Florida neighborhood watchman shoots suspicious 16-year-old boy, neighbors say it’s ‘awesome’
investigators in Florida said this week that a Lake County neighborhood watch volunteer had a right to use deadly force after he shot a 16-year-old boy who he claimed was robbing a neighbor’s home.

Residents of the Lake County neighborhood told WFTV that most of people who lived there were armed. Resident Charlene Coomer called the shooting “awesome.â€

The 16-year-old suspect was recovering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Investigators were trying to determine if he acted alone. Deputies said that the investigation was ongoing.
thank goodness he only wounded the kid (I doubt the punk learned his lesson.)

Regardless of whether or not race plays a factor here, what really screams out in this case and so many like it is these idiots have decided that the value of the life of that kid was LESS than the value of the neighbors television.
That is what is "awesome" to them.
These people are sick ****s, of course, but they are not alone.
1. The media is littered with idiots that decide it's a good idea to rush someone holding a gun.
The person shooting the kid didn't decide the kids life was worth less than a TV. The thug himself decided that when he decided he deserved someone else's property.

Because breaking in to someone else's home is a victimless crime, right?

In their minds it may be victimless because it was just a television l. What they are conveniently going to leave out is the fact that break in have resulted in the harm or death of the victim countless times. Watch how they spin it. I'm willing to bet it will never be brought up.

While I'm sure the local PP could have told the neighborhood watch dude and his neighbors exactly how much the kid's "spare parts" were worth on the open market, and how to preserve those "spare parts" from damage, they probably didn't have time to dial 1-800-GHOULS-R-US.

Had said robber just stopped and put the tv down until the cops showed up to arrest his punk ass, he wouldn't have been shot. His decision to ATTACK the watchman put gun-wielding adult in fear of bodily injury, making the shot justifiable.
