TTW has reached out and accepted help. She is truly grateful to every single DUer for their support.
My ex is going to help TTW by accompanying her tomorrow to the place where Yoshi is being kept, and taking Yoshi home in the late evening tomorrow. Yoshi will be living in a large brownstone in Philly, with ample space and walks in Fairmount Park. That is the plan.
I will keep DU updated on this thread, and will edit appropriately. Please, and I ask this of the general DU community.....have compassion.
Look at my username. I don't ask that too often.
This is a situation that will evolve, and resolve over time, hopefully with all questions and concerns answered. I am asking for patience, tolerance, and the true Democratic spirit as we help one of our own.
I am not a believer, but I truly ask this community to gather their prayers, thoughts, and wishes that this situation work itself out, and that we, as a community, can put this one in the win column for both dog and human.

Update---Yoshi is resting comfortably, in a Philly brownstone owned by my ex. His physical health will be monitored, as he has had some diarrhea. He has shown some anxiety and some fear, (growling and howling) but they are hoping to calm him down. He perked up immediately upon his change of situation, and right now is playing with a squeaky toy. His dogwalker (who will be doing his afternoon walks) is on her way to meet him. I will update the situation as I can.
These next few weeks will be a challenge for both human and dog. I will post information about targeted donations, i.e., directly for food or walks, as soon as I have that. In the meantime, I thank the DU community for such a positive, and thoughtful thread.
Update for 4 August---yes, it's August 5th, but I meant to post this yesterday, and life got busy.....Yoshi continues to adjust. This is his fabulous dogwalker, who has invested a great deal of time and effort into helping Yoshi and TTW.

To alleviate the "concerns" of some posters below, I am paying the dogwalker. Yoshi's overall health continues to improve. He is dealing with a mild case of kennel cough, and is being monitored.
Some posters have asked about the doggie day care. I am in touch with the proper parties with regard to this issue. I hope to have an update with more information within a few days, but I am sure most DUers can appreciate that things, particularly investigations into wrongdoing or neglect, do not happen instantaneously.
Lots of effort is underway to make this work, and I appreciate the patience of DUers as we try to take on a situation that's been months in the making.

I used to consider myself a caring and compassionate person, but the DUmp monkeys have me questioning that now. These days my compassion meter, as far as DUmmie events are concerned, remains bottomed out at zero. In the past when I'd read one of their sob stories I'd occasionally think to myself "oh how sad", but these days when I read the stories I just shrug my shoulders and say "oh well." Maybe that speaks to my failings as an individual instead of their subhumanity. I don't know, but I do feel for the poor dog. The four legged one.
