Heartbreaking news - Jericho, Cecil's brother has been shot dead by poachers
Once again, because the vile actions of humans, Cecil's cubs are once again at risk.
As much as I am against the death penalty, I would favor having the death penatly for poachers and trophy hunters.
Cecil the lion's brother Jericho has been shot dead in a park in Zimbabwe.
The animal was protecting his lion cubs after he was shot dead by Minnesota dentist, Walter Palmer earlier this month, sparking outrage around the world.
Johnny Rodrigues, Chairman for Zimbabwe Conservation Task Force, said in a statement: 'It is with great sadness and regret that we report that Jericho was shot dead at 4pm this afternoon.
'We have no further details but will advise as soon as we know more.'

24. Are you serious?
Where is the outcry for the one million dead Iraqis from an illegal war and occupation - not even a war crime charge??
So let me get this straight.
Lion kills zebra or whatever other animal - fine.
Lion kills lion - fine.
Lion kills human - fine.
Black kills black - fine.
Black kills white - fine.
Planned Parenthood kills hundreds of thousands every year, deliberately targeting blacks - fine.
White kills black - outrage.
White kills lion - outrage.

JOHANNESBURG (AP) — A lion researcher in Zimbabwe who tracked the lion called Cecil that was killed by an American hunter is casting doubt on a report that another male lion who was Cecil's companion was fatally shot.
Researcher Brent Stapelkamp told The Associated Press by telephone Saturday that the satellite collar on a lion named Jericho had been sending normal signals, indicating the lion was alive and moving around.
Jericho the Lion is alive and unharmed. Reports of death are greatly exaggerated/FALSE

So those who jumped on the outrage bandwagon can relax until the next shiny object shows up.
