Vandals defaced a Sandra Bland memorial with 'All Lives Matter'

A mural in Ottowa, Canada painted in honor of Sandra Bland was found defaced with the slogan "All Lives Matter" on Tuesday, according to CBC News.
The mural was commissioned by the Black Lives Matter movement in honor of Bland, a black woman who was arrested for assault in Texas on July 10th after failing to signal, then found dead of an apparent suicide three days later.
The mural of Bland had a white mustache drawn on it, with the words, "All Lives Matter" scrawled across the mural in white paint.
The mural was created Monday on a common wall that is sanctioned for public art in Ottawa.

My first thought was whether this "vandalization" was done on a "mural" that was in fact a vandalization. Looking at the linked article I found this:
The painting was created Monday on a common wall that is sanctioned for public art in Ottawa.
So the original mural was there legally. OTOH, because it was on "a common wall that is sanctioned for public art" it can't really be vandalized, by definition of the purpose of that wall. If that wall has been so used for very long, the original Sandra Bland mural probably was done over any number of previous works of "public art". The mustache and verbal retort, thus, are also "public art".

As researchers are quick to point out, FBI data on police shootings by race is notoriously incomplete, which may explain why Peter Moskos, assistant professor at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice at the City University of New York, decided to use figures from the website Killed by Police.
Based on that data, Mr. Moskos reported that roughly 49 percent of those killed by officers from May 2013 to April 2015 were white, while 30 percent were black. He also found that 19 percent were Hispanic and 2 percent were Asian and other races.

However, the left likes to point out that more whites should be killed by cops, because of population percentages. And they use that to say that too many blacks are being killed because they only make up 12% or so of the population.
But then, the left likes to switch things up and point out that more white people are on welfare, than blacks, but ignore those same population ratios. However, at the same time, wanting to cut welfare is racist. :whistling:
