Nation's Experts Give Up
WASHINGTON, DC—Citing years of frustration over their advice being misunderstood, misrepresented or simply ignored, America's foremost experts in every field collectively tendered their resignation Monday.
Left: Child-rearing expert Dr. Patrick Coughlin and Korean War expert Dr. Laurence Block field reporters' questions following the mass resignation of America's 243,839 experts.
"Despite all our efforts to advise this nation, America still throws out its recyclables, keeps its guns in unlocked cabinets where children have easy access, eats three times as much red meat as is recommended, watches seven hours of TV per day, swims less than 10 minutes after eating, and leaves halogen lights on while unattended," said Dr. Simon Peavy, vice-president of the National Association of Experts. "Since you don't seem to care about things you don't understand, screw you. We quit."

1. Fantastic!
They didn't know what they were talking about anyway. Finally, some peace.

11. Hey, I'm a cosmology and physics geek.
I can get my head around the concepts and theory but was, alas, born without the math gene. So I went to law school instead of becoming a cosmologist or theoretical physicist.

Ah yes, her years at law school, while she supported herself as a knife wielding EMT, climbed mountains with a bad knee, and almost represented Mexico in their Olympic Fencing Team.

Hey, with that attitude mister, you will get your name off of nad's rolodex faster than she can put down an entire cheesecake by herself.

Not one DUmmy in a hundred knows what a Rolodex is.
That in itself makes her an expert.
There aren't too many experts in nuclear physics who are also small arms experts and experts in interpersonal relationships.
And that's hardly scratching the surface of nadin's expertise.

I don't care to wander into the DU sewer over this, but are these DU folk posting satirically? Or do they not realize that nads' OP quote is from The Onion?

My fault for not going over, yes they're posting satirically on a coverage factor of 2.

No, and yes.
They have one brain cell, which they share between them. It's been sitting for a month at a post office in Tucson, waiting for Amber to pay the postage due.

They are enraged that free people refuse to bend to authoritarian tyrants that masquerade as scientists.

Final edit, caption with that FB share
This group of tornadoes was around Inola, Oklahoma last night!! Unbelievable...I have never seen anything like it!
For some reason, someone who didn’t do their research, or a prankster perhaps, decided to post a digital artwork called “Cthulhu Rising†by artist DaShadeE from DeviantArt, as if it were a photograph of tornadoes in the distance on a road. The reason that it looks fake is because it is fake. Those are tentacles, not tornadoes.. and the bumps at the top are wings. And yet, the forwarding of this, as if it were an amazing storm system continues to get circulated. Also, Inola Oklahoma is flatland, not mountainous.
The actual location, according to the artist, is a highway near Sophia Bulgaria (which is in Europe, not even in the US). The artist used a photograph of the roadway found on Google, and painted the Cthulhu above it. The artist has stated that it’s okay to share, but does not offer it commercially or sell it.
