5. This was a case where insanity should have been the finding
not that Holmes would have seen freedom anytime in his life. But there was a good case made by the lawyer for insanity.
The reason, this country has a hell of a case admitting the issues with mental health. He should get life, but life in a mental institution anyway.
Best to kill the freak now and be done with it.

How big of a weirdo are you when the other primitives call you a weirdo. He comes off like a ***** but in his state of mind he could be dangerous. No telling what someone this unhinged is capable of doing.

A "life" sentence is illusory so long as there are idiot governors and Presidents (idiot? or malevolent?) who can and do commute sentences!
