OMFG....OK State Repuke Party Post on Facebook -- UNREAL AND RACIST!!!!
Opponents of maintaining state and federal funding for social safety net programs have a long history of making comparisons between government beneficiaries and animals, which is widely considered to be a racially coded insult.
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich once said that the current welfare system is “turning children into young animals and they are killing each other.†A GOP congressional candidate in Texas, meanwhile, compared welfare beneficiaries to donkeys.
The “don’t feed the animals†meme in particular is popular among GOP candidates. In 2012, a Minnesota state representative made nearly the exact same comparison while making the case that less money should be allocated to food stamps. In 2010, a Republican candidate for governor in South Carolina criticized food stamps by saying his grandmother “told me as a small child to quit feeding stray animals†because “they breed.†Both later apologized.
Largely because of this attitude toward people living in poverty, signing up for food stamps remains deeply stigmatized in the United States. Outreach coordinators for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) say that a big part of their job is challenging misconceptions about exactly what the program does and how many different kinds of people rely on it. In fact, there’s relatively high labor force participation among people in the SNAP program because it’s specifically designed to supplement the wages of low-income workers.

When you have a list of what you have seen and read to top it all...a Repuke will step up to the plate and make #1 on that list for you every time!

1. republicans are proud of their racism
722 proud republicans liked this
They are plenty of Democrats that are racist, like J. William Fulbright, Woodrow Wilson, and Robert Byrd. Wilson was considered far left prior to Franklin D. Roosevelt.

5. You know, I guess I just hoped they might become human and instead...
...they just became nasty clowns.
So says the whiner.

7. Not seeing the racism here.
Classist and general disdain for the poor, yes. You'd have to make several unconnected mental leaps on your own to bring this around to the point of being racist.

Please do not feet the animals. The animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves.
The Dept of Interior should have also added “The animals, being wild, are prone to attack and maim or kill those providing the handouts.

Yeah, it makes sense that the Audrey primitive, who makes the rest of we deaf people look bad, would gripe about something like this.
-
For those not familiar with the Audrey primitive, this has been her stellar performance in the DUmpster thus far:

I swear, this is somebody who doesn't get nearly all the misery she truly deserves, the whiny bitch.

That mole was rather too obvious by being truthful. In order to consider the animal/foodstamp meme to be racist, you would have to believe that only minorities are on foodstamps. Conservatives know that there are more white people on welfare, but per capita, blacks beat them by a mile.
-
For it to be racist would be to say that ALL black people are on food stamps. Is that what you're saying, DUmbasses?
-
TOO! FUNNY!
I wish the joke known as the CA R Party were half so apt and humorous.
-
The Dept of Interior should have also added “The animals, being wild, are prone to attack and maim or kill those providing the handouts.
Amen.
Reminds me of the story we've all heard of the beggar who one man started giving him $100 every day he went past him. For years, everyday, he would give this beggar $100.
Then one day, the man walked past without giving the beggar a $100. The beggar then yelled out "Hey! Where's my $100?!?" He became conditioned to think it was his, that he was owed it, rather than it being a gift.
The liberals will end up learning the hard way. They always do. The ability to take sound advise from those of us who are more intelligent than they'll ever be, a/k/a conservatives, is beyond their comprehension.

Curious thing ... it wasn't that long ago that Libs & Progs were crowing over the fact that the majority of people on government social programs were whites, as if conservatives thought otherwise. How is it now that the OK R Party statement is racist?
Have the Libs & Progs forgotten that most recipients of social program $$ - ignoring the bureaucrats who leech off ~75% of it - are whites?
Have Libs & Progs become the racists they formerly accused conservatives of being through assuming that the majority of people on government social programs are black?

They only remember facts like that when it works to their advantage.
Otherwise they revert to their inner racist and just push the stereotype.
