OMG here is your morning cry - Joe Biden's Dad's advice about gays
If this doesn't get you choked up this morning I don't know what will. This is an excerpt from Joe Biden's speech from Freedom To Marry Celebration Of Victory gala in New York where he talks about the first time seeing two men kiss and how his father told him just exactly what he thought about that.

This has been a heroic battle, but it has been based on a very simple proposition best expressed at least to me by my dad when I was a 17-year-old kid. My dad was one of those — as the Irish say, the highest compliment you give someone is he was a good man. My dad was a good and decent man.
And I was — I learned early on I didn’t like digging ditches in the summer with construction crews so I became a lifeguard. (Laughter.) But they paid a lot more money. I was in a county system, in a county pool. And they paid more money in the city. And so my dad on the way to his job in the morning, and this — if you know anything about — you probably don’t — my city of Wilmington, there’s a place called Rodney Square. And the buildings surrounding Rodney Square were the DuPont Company; the Hercules Corporation, which was big then; and ICI Americas, and so there were a lot of plain grey suits. And an awful lot of — at 8:00 in the morning, an awful lot of men and women hustling off to work.
But the courthouse is in that square. And my dad pulled up to let me run out and get an application for this job in the city, and then I was going to drive him to work and drive myself home.
And as we were stopped at the light, two men on the right — very well-dressed men, obviously, business people working for either Hercules or DuPont turned and embraced one another and kissed each other. And they went their separate ways.

Cool story Bro!
Joe's bouncy reminds me of the stories people that work with me come up with when they are late for work. People can't just come out and say that they overslept, they feel the need to make up all kinds of details that they think make the story more believable--like their carbon monoxide alarm went off during the night and they had to stay at home until they were certain that their kids were safe or they witnessed a car wreck on their way to work and stayed with the accident victim until the first responders arrived, that kind of thing.
All the nonsense about digging ditches and lifeguards and getting a job application is just more BS laid on that Joe thinks makes the story sound more believable. This obvious BS story shows the contempt Joe feels for the left. He knows that whatever BS he spews, the primitives and others on the left will just lap it right up, no questions asked.

I remember being 12 and seeing two women in a passionate kiss. I looked at my mom with my mouth hanging open. My mom (who had served in the Woman Marines, 1942-1945) said, "close your mouth, you look like a fish. It's love. They love each other. It's simple."

I'm surprised that gay marriage didn't happen back in 1960 since it sounds like everybody already supported it way back then if Slow Joe and the primitives are to be believed.

I hope the increase in Biden's appearances indicate he is going to enter the race for the Dem nomination.
Because if Hillary is going to come out of that mix as the eventual nominee, she is going to have to run against Obama. And that will be epic. :-)

When Slow Joe was a teen, two queers would have been more likely to piss on a police cruiser than to kiss in public.

Here's a real story about a parent's reaction to gay luv.
My mother served in the Air Force from 1955 to some years later, when I, her little bundle of joy, arrived. :-) During basic, she was appointed squad leader or some such in the womens' barracks and encountered two women, ah, shall we say, embracing the joys of female loving. She broke them up. as hands off as possible, by screaming. I don't think my poor mother ever quite recuperated from the experience, at 18, of witnessing her first "act of love".
Yeah, keep it in your private bedroom people, whatever else you do. Let's have a tiny bit of decency. :hammer:
