well the dccc is at it again. but this candidate will stand up to them.
just had the pleasure of a phone call from du'er and '14 congressional candidate kelly westlund.
she is getting in for '16.
the d-trip didnt support her run last time, because she didnt want to turn her campaign management over to their chosen one.
in the meantime she has backed the "wrong" candidate to run the county party. she wanted a true progressive from her past campaign and the party wanted the same old same old.
and just been generally not going along to get along like a good little girl.
therefore, they will be primarying her. of course.
she will pop in soon with her official kick off, but she gave me permission to leak this.
no act blue page at the moment, but set aside a couple bucks for her, please.
This smells like a gofund me waiting to happen. Gets money from DUmmies then doesn't run.

Were the friends of DUmmie Kelly Westlund kind enough to help amplify her message? Was there anyone who put up a website to quote the best of Kelly from DU?

Ummmmm ...... the definition of "primarying" is subjecting an incumbent to a primary challenge. Kelly Westlund was the D Party candidate in 2014, but she lost to the R, Sean Duffy, ~40% to ~60%. This was in WI's 7th Congressional District. Duffy was the incumbent in that general election (and he may have benefited from Scott Walker's coattails), and (obviously) will be in 2016.
So all mo-mo really means by, "they will be primarying her," is that Kelly Westlund will have competition in the 2016 primary, and the D Party will probably be supporting her competitor. The NERVE!. If Kelly Westlund projects the kind of entitled attitude mo-mo does, she may defeat herself by turning off her would-be constituents.

28. i think you are right.
i am hoping to spend some time up there in the fall/winter, when the farm has been put to bed for the season.
If she abandons the "farm" the city of Chicago should rush in and bulldoze the place while she's gone.

That's awesome.
By the way that idiot was talking, I assumed she had won her seat.

How does that work- does she load up all of her chickens in the Lesburu and haul them with her? That would look like The Muppets Take Milwaukee.
The state of Wisconsin probably frowns on scraggly old dykes coming into their state with carloads of mangy poultry. The farmers have enough to worry about without adding imported livestock diseases- and a bunch of nasty chickens won't be welcome, either.
I think checkpoints at the state line are in order!

Looks like pretty much just old white hippies are supporting her.

Thanks, Hawk. I've not (yet?) come as far as frank's wisdom that DU-folk lie all the time (and maybe frank built a bit of hyperbole into that proverb), but I've found, through experience, that Libs' and Progs' facts claims very very frequently are false, partly false, omits important facts that contradict their point, is ripped out of context, or is in some way pretzellated into supporting their point.
For some reason mo-mo's claim, even though it was against D Party leaders, had a false ring to me, and amusement ensued.

One thing I forgot to mention about Westlund's 2014 Primary campaign is that she won the D nomination with something like a 70% hyper-majority. I'm thinking that either the Ds in that district are DU-grade loony-toony or one should "look for the union label". Or both.
