After all, in those days, segregation had been ruled constitutional by the SCOTUS.

Two KY clerks violate the constitution
Fire them, then sue them into poverty then throw them in prison!

2. Wow. So much ****ing hate
I am talking about you not them BTW. Sheesh it will all be over in a few weeks. They will either comply, lose their jobs, quit their jobs, or the courts will step in.
People need to quit showing their blood lust.
We won.
Once upon a time John H. Ferguson had won as well.

3. I don't have much use for people who knowingly and willfully violate their oath of office.
Either comply with the law you swore to uphold, or STFU and resign.
Like Obama and Holder refusing to defend DOMA?

4. The hypocrisy annoys me.
Jesus specifically said that divorce is wrong. He said that anybody who marries a divorced person commits adultery.
So, have these clerks been denying licenses to previously married couples? If not, why not?
Marriage is for the care of children.
Fags don't have children.
When they adopt the children suffer.
There is no such thing as legitimate fag marriage.

6. I agree with you and in terms of the hypocrisy of those who are religious
and that bothers me when it comes to other issues as well. It is one of the reasons why I consider myself agnostic.
So, we went from it being wrong to marry a divorced person to its divine to marry a fag.
Remind me again who the hypocrites are.

7. I chose another path.
I left the church and worship God according to my beliefs.
I'm believe when Adam and Eve decided they wanted to be gods themselves they gazed upon the fruit and saw their reflections and even though their images were distorted by the shape of the fruit they believed it to be the enticing sight they had ever seen.

Hicks - the OP - is just a little too far ahead of the DU-folk who reproved him. The attempts to purge Christians from government, businesses and professions has just received the fuel to get up steam. These DU-folk will be cheering on the purgers in a few weeks or months.
If the purgers succeed society will experience the natural consequences of driving some of society's best people out of professions. The vacuum won't persist, and many of the ones filling it won't be good people. By the time those effects are felt few will recognize how things came to that pass. Just as Libs, Progs, Mo-o-o-o-o-oderates and even some conservative don't/won't recognize the problems "no-fault" divorce, sexual promiscuity, and nearly unlimited abortion have brought.

Jesus specifically said that divorce is wrong. He said that anybody who marries a divorced person commits adultery.
Did he? Did he really say divorce was wrong? Let's look and see:
"9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery."
Matthew 19:9
So, you were wrong, and "divorce" had not the first damn thing to do with the article.
Like any heathen liberal, you tried to use something you clearly do not understand, to make a point that had nothing to do with the subject, to condemn people that don't march in lock-step with your philosophy.
You disgust me, DUmbass.

They'll still be telling us that societal issues are electoral losers and we should keep focusing on the "economy". All the while never understanding how moral and economic rot go hand in hand.

I wish there was an account of Jesus conversing with a hard headed lib.
Maybe Judas was a lib, and even Jesus couldn't get through to him.
