Where are the freaking house flies coming from?

Garbage is taken out and litter boxes are cleaned daily. No science experiments in the fridge. Are they just slipping in when I open the door? Is there a non toxic way of getting rid of them, other than a fly swatter?

1. That happened to me once

The answer was a trapped rat that had somehow gotten through an old cracked pipe in the basement, became stuck in a crawl space and died. Is there a funky smell accompanying the flies by any chance?

^^^not to be confused with the bitter old Vermontese cali primitive, who's on temporary involuntary vacation

2. flies are one thing I will recomment sticky traps for

old style - kind of nasty to handle and deal with, but cheap

after which a picture of rolls of flypaper

I prefer these

3. Non Toxic Spray

One tablespoon of Dawn dish washing liquid to one cup of water in a small spray bottle. One squirt will take down any flying insect and no odor.

We're getting them here in PA, too.

What's wrong with a flyswatter? Afraid things will get messy?

Yeah DUmbass, try bathing more than once a month and you'll have no problem with flies.

Taking the garbage out...WHERE?  Taking it out of the can and leaving it in the floor?   :lmao:

How can a DUmmie determine if a smell is "funky" or not?  How is a DUmmie going to get close enough to a fly to check it for "accompanying" smells?

That would require physical effort on the part of the DUmmie.  Ain't gonna happen.  The DUmmie would demand a government program for every flyswatter to come with its own certified union flyswatter operator.

Black flies matter.

Most of mine are green or brown, but I don't discriminate, I kill them all.

And let the Lord of the Flies sort them out?

And let the Lord of the Flies sort them out?
Yeah, I thought they worshipped the Lord of the Flies, what do they expect?
