It's the usual DU Exhibition of Their Own Ass (http://www.democraticunderground.com/10026881617).

4. so let me see what is on my arrest scoreboard...
1. Black guy arrested on fake minor charge: Thrown about back of van until spine is crushed, and you die.
2. White racist terrorist mass murder: Treated to Burger King
Do I have that right? TELL ME I DON'T HAVE THAT RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DU assures us, daily, that they're the smartest, most savvy and cunning group of thinkin' fellers on the Internet. And daily as well they shit the bed.
DUmmies, let me try to explain this to you.
Roof was, at the time, suspected of not only being a murderer, but a mass murderer, and the murders were almost certainly a HATE CRIME.
AND YOU PEOPLE INSIST HE IS A TERRORIST. Let's run with that for a while:
A TERRORIST commits an act of TERRORISM and gets away. He's CAUGHT by the POLICE, alive, and instead of "murdering" him the way Freddie Gray was "murdered,"
they take him into custody. Now, bear with me, DUmmies: I'm granting you that he's a TERRORIST for a moment.
THE POLICE, BEING STUPID RACISTS, don't have your brains. They don't know for certain that Roof acted alone (like you obviously do). They don't know that there
couldn't possibly be others out there, waiting to launch other acts of TERROR. Do you remember when you all insisted that we prosecute bin Laden as a criminal? Well,
gee, DUmmies, WITH ROOF YOU'RE GETTING YOUR WISH.
Since the stupid police don't have your perfect knowledge and foresight, they actually have to INVESTIGATE what happened and GATHER EVIDENCE. Remember: I'm treating
Roof as a "terrorist" here. That means he is probably part of a network of "terrorists," right? You'd think that the police might want to, you know, QUESTION THE KID to see
if, when, where, and how his compatriots plan to attack again, right? MAYBE, just MAYYYYYYBE, a ****ing HAMBURGER might help the "terrorist" spill the beans a little.
So far, you guys want Roof to have been killed by the police as revenge for Freddie Gray. Doesn't that violate almost every DU canon regarding the rights of the accused?
I thought captured "terrorists" were supposed to receive due process. You told us that, for years. I thought Gitmo was torture. You told us that, for years.
You brand this stupid kid a "terrorist," but you won't permit him any of the rights and luxuries you demanded for captured Al Qaeda. What's up with that?
I'm starting to think you don't really think this kid is an actual terrorist. You just see a white kid who killed some black people, and you demand he get treated exactly the way you claim the
Bush Admin treated people.
For which you continue to demand that Bush et al spend their days behind bars.

Kind and courteous reply, thank you. ^5 back at ya.

Um...what?
You DUmmies perceive that the police down south, where "that flag" is flown, treated a suspect better than the police in that bastion of progressivism, baltimore?
That totally explains why you clowns are upset and trying to spin it away as something else.

Per the Yahoo News article (http://news.yahoo.com/dylann-roofs-arrest-how-smalltown-police-foiled-the-accused-charleston-killers-getaway-115653519.html) I just read, the police got him a hamburger, but did not take him there. :banghead: Think for a couple of milliseconds ... would the police take a potentially high-risk prisoner into an uncontrolled environment like a fast food restaurant? :banghead:
What credulous fatuous morons!

Not to mention that they can't quite grasp the concept that law enforcement assumes the responsibility to feed suspects once arrested and held. Local fast food joints are almost always used.

If you read the DUmp comments, they clearly wanted the cops to play judge, jury, torturer, and executioner with this kid. You know, pretty much everything they complain about every other day of the week. There are a few options:
1. They're crazy, and cannot think with logic or consistency;
2. They're stupid, and have no sense of logic or consistency;
3. They demand that black suspects be treated like royalty, and that white suspects be beaten senseless.
Generally, one would pick the option that makes most sense. Since we're talking about DU, though, ALL of these apply. Which, again, is why they're howling on the internet instead of running anything.

Another interesting bit of info in the article is confirmation that Roof did not resist arrest, but surrendered quietly. That might explain the lack of grass stains on his front teeth, IYKWIM.

Is Burger King considered luxury dining for Dummies?

They're doing their usual: they first reveal that they think it's a treat, and then they realize what their words imply, and then they start acting like Burger King is an imposition. Pretty typical DUmmytalk.

Well in boot camp it was.

Roof is a terrorist ?
Well then it's off to GITMO for him, to be met with a revolving door that sets him free.

Much as I rail against word inflation, I think it would be appropriate to call him a terrorist. His fantasy-world intent was to set off a race war. Much like Charles Manson. Roof's moronicity doesn't mitigate his intent.
But I wouldn't want Roof sent to Gitmo. During a round of golf BHO might forget who Roof is and set him free.

It's intellectually honest to call him a terrorist, but what we do with that information is vastly different from what a liberal would do. When I see a dead frog on the road I might wonder what species it is, but it's an idle and worthless thought, because the frog is dead. Likewise affixing the label "terrorist" to this kid is, ultimately, worthless to you and me. Liberals want the designation so they can similarly label anyone remotely similar. They see dim bulbs calling anyone with brown skin a "terrorist," and liberals cannot help aspire to be similarly dim. Said differently, "terrorist" is a political designation as far as liberals are concerned. In the internet-obsessed world of a liberal, if they can just get a few people designated as terrorists, then they think they can get the NRA designated as a terrorist organization, and then Fox News, and then the GOP in general. But we're talking about DUmmies, so of course they'll never do anything, nor will they amount to anything.

That's what I mean by "word inflation". A terrorist becomes anyone who dares disagree with them and is effective and influential. More simply:
Liberals want the designation so they can similarly label anyone they imagine to be remotely similar.
They've thus rendered meaningless many important words: racism, bigot, fascist, terrorist, misogynist, hatred. Just off the top of my head. Epithets and straw men have replaced discussion and debate.
