Have you ever been hungry?

And I mean, REALLY hungry? As in, you don't know where you are going to go for your next meal, and you haven't eaten for two days?

I ask because I've been watching recently documentaries about people or NGO's who help alleviate hunger in society, but especially amongst the most vulnerable, like children or the sick. It seems as if going through a scary bout of "food insecurity" is a transformative experience.

Specifically, the Food Network's "Chopped", celebrity chef Aaron Sanchez who is a Chopped food judge on their revolving panel of judges ... Normally, he's poker-faced, and tough with contestants, but as a contestant HIMSELF on the "Judge's Face-off" (competing for charity against four other Chopped judges), he spoke of his charity, WhyHunger, and in telling the story behind how he came to support this organization, he broke down almost completely.

It struck me as being so genuine, and I wondered if maybe it felt so personal with him because he'd gone through such hard times himself.

You DUmmies don't know what not going out with food is like in other third world countries. You all live on food stamps and are fat.

4. Yes, I have been

back when there were no food stamps or food pantries. Collecting soda bottles netted me enough to stay alive but not enough to stop the pain that felt like it was going to cut me in two.

Politicians who seem hell bent on keeping the 99% hungry but have never experienced it themselves need to know they will reap the whirlwind. Hunger is bad enough to experience personally. Watching your kids cry themselves to sleep because there is nothing to eat while the people who did it to them swan around in conspicuous overconsumption leads to the type of rage that cost Louis XVI his head.

Hunger in this country is an obscenity. It exists only because the 1% have starved everything and everybody to get richer while creating a bloated military to make them feel safer. Hunger in this country proves that we are now a failed state, unable to care for its people.

Yeah, yeah, sure, sure.

What a bunch of unhappy and holy horseshit.

There are so many religious and even non denominational charities that will assist in time of need.  But most DUmmies want to suck off the teat of government & ignore anything else.

Clean teat, dirty teat, any teat will do, DUmmies will suck it dry and cry for more.

The dummies scream about how hungry food insecure they are, or have been, or will be, and 99.5 percent of them are fat as an ox.  I'm sure a lot of people here at CC have been broke before... and worked their ass off to make sure they would never be that way again.

See dummies? That is the difference between us and you. I have no problem helping people out in their time of need. I ain't gonna take them in and do it for the rest of their lives. That is what the majority of the welfare folks seem to think we should do.

Get off your ass and find a job. Should be easy now what with ya all dummies telling me how the O'conomy is going gangbusters.

I just print some more money. Big Dog Bux, backed by the full faith and credit of yours truly.

I'm especially proud of the Raquel, a 1 million dollar bill with Raquel Welch's bikini photo.

How can the smartest party on the planet(just ask them) be perpetually poor and hungry?  You'd think they'd be able to outsmart those evil 1%ers just once.

Yes, Yes I have been hungry and not knowing where my next meal was coming from. It's called the Joint Readiness Training Center, Fort Polk, Louisiana. It's Called being on a stalk in Sniper school and having to stay perfectly still and not move a muscle until the lane walker got over to me. I've been in a Observation Post on Route Santa Fe, providing overwatch for the route to ensure it stays clear, and not having any food for hours.

Some of my bretheren in the Army have been to Ranger School, and YOU have NO CLUE what hunger is I've been told, until you are in the mountains of Georgia, carrying a 60+ lb ruck on one MRE a day that consists of 1200-1400 calories... But you're burning at LEAST 7-8,000 calories a DAY.

I know hunger, but I also know discipline that comes with it. Hunger isn't always bad, because it makes you work for more. Hunger can tell you that you are on the right track towards your goals, but you DUches wouldn't understand that. You haven't had THAT kind of hunger, just the hunger of more drugs... More Cheetos...

So you can take your hunger, and you can either learn from it, or be a vicitim. And you OBVIOUSLY have chosen the latter DUche, therefore I will not waste any time trying to help you.

I was unemployed once for 4 months. I saw it coming and saved up for it.
I survived on Ramman noodles. I did not go hungry. Bored, yes. Hungry no.

I was hungry once; but I told a woman to make me a sammich, and I was hungry no more.

Big Dog privilege rocks!
