I am afraid of a nice warm fire. This is the kind of weather...
I am expecting this to be raised to warning before long.
Mom is flying in from...

16. Yikes.
My son is flying out of Bmore Wed. night on a red eye. I just sent him this link, so thx for letting us all know.
Stay safe, everyone.
WTF would we do without teh NADIN?

Typical of the geocentrism of the cousin.
nadin's pretty provincial; as far as she's concerned, the whole world consists of a certain 1% neighborhood of Mexico City, and San Diego.
Never mind that much of the rest of the world, including the Great Plains states, have been enduring such weather for weeks now.

Never mind east Texas, which is going to be soaked by TS Bill soon--after all of the rain they got last month. They're still cleaning up from that.

Here is Accuweather's temp data and forecast for the month of June in San Diego. (http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/san-diego-ca/92101/june-weather/347628) It illustrates the reason you won't often see nads complaining of heat in San Diego! They have this ginormous "air conditioner" called the Pacific Ocean (it has similar moderating effects in winter). Similarly, you won't often see me complaining much of Silicon Valley weather.
HOT weather in the SW US isn't news, it's normal! I lived in the Phoenix, AZ area for 6 years in my late teens and early 20s, so I know this ...

-COACHELLA VALLEY-SAN DIEGO COUNTY DESERTS- Is the operative part of the alert that she posted, she's acting as if the alert applies to San Diego proper. It might get into the mid-70's here.
