I think this is great news! It means we can sooner get away with this xxx-American PC crap and get down to just plain American. It clearly means that while liberal media and politicians are so wrapped up in racial tensions, young people are turning blind eyes to a person's genetic makeup and are selecting partners based on commonalities that count.

I have no problem with it, but I do wonder how much of the supposed increase is just people no longer hiding their mixed-race backgrounds and additional groups like lighter-skinned Hispanics self-identifying as a different race, when they wouldn't have done that decades ago.  I looked at the article and the definitions seem to be quite fluid.

Not gonna happen. Obama is a Halfrican, but he detests his white heritage, except when he can exploit it for political purposes.

Then there is the line between blacks and Hispanics, which likely won't disappear.
