Title: Pitt sees Skip getting attention, decides it's really all about him

Here's the bare fact: *I*(1) should have been banned well before NYC_Skip.

This is not meant as a call-out to the admins, or to anyone at all actually. I'm(2)  calling myself(3)  out, truth be told.

I((4))  posted a thread calling the president a POS used car salesman !!!here!!! because I(5)  lost my(6)  temper with the only insurance company the ACA allowed me(7)  to access in NH, and was stupid enough to take it out on my(8)  keyboard. I(9)  had my(10)  reasons, and it was because my(11)  wife with MS and my(12)  baby daughter were being put in peril by a gruesomely selfish and greedy insurance bureaucracy the ACA handed us to as our only choice in this state...but I'm(13)  not getting into it again, and if you want to, you'll be talking to yourself and not me.(14)

The point: We've all said some rotten shit on this board over the years. Some of us (me!(15) ) have said shit that would hyperactivate a statue. It's amazing they still let me(16)  in the door...but they do, and that's my(17)  ultimate purpose with this post. Skip wasn't just a member here. He gave service to the organization as a Mod back in the Mod days on DU2. He was a hard-boiled contributor, and if his contributions made me(18)  want to beat him with a length of lead pipe - aaaaand they did on many times many occasions - well, that's the price of admission.

He ****ed up big time, and no mistake. That was a shit stupid ugly thing to post. He got lost in the forest of the argument and ran smack into a tree...and I(19)  know I(20)  know I(21)  know he pissed off and offended a lot of people whose opinions I(22)  deeply respect...but if my(23)  opinion carries any degree of respect in this demented joint, here it is: Give the cat a break. I(24)  cannot honestly say I(25)  like him very much - we've had our share of round-and-rounds, and they have seldom been pleasant - and I(26)  don't at all respect everything he has to say by any means.

That goes for quite a lot of you assholes, as it turns out.

He has put in the work with this joint. Like it or lump it, he's part of the DNA.

He ****ed up badly. Allow him a chance to apologize, and open the batwings for him again. I(27)  was given that chance once. So should he.

One man's opinion.(28)

Has anyone ever been so self-promoting to so little effect? (http://www.democraticunderground.com/10026781416)

What a self-important gasbag.

William Pitt, most DUmmies know you have never even tried to use words in ways they consider to be "clever" so stop trying to make this all about you. If you are attempting to get a job as an Obama speech writer, well ,then, send a resume.

1. **** you, I need a drink
2. **** you, I'm shitfaced

And #1 always seems to both precede and follow #2. :whistling:

He always must make everything about Pitt.

It must be innate in libs.
It must be more powerful the more dyed in the wool lib they are.

Odd, he left out the banning/return involved in the 'threatening bobolink episode'.

Or, I missed it in the long rant.

He also left out the part about using a sock puppet to admit his nefarious dealings with school kids.

16. Let me tell you a quick story

Several years ago, I was in a heated argument here with someone and let slip what could easily be construed as a gay slur. I can't tell you exactly what it was, I didn't call my opponent a "fag" or anything like that, but if memory properly serves I questioned their manhood in a way that...and I'll admit it...was a slur without using any of the gross words. I was pissed in the heat of the moment, I ****ed all the way up, and I'll tell you what - and this is the blessing of DU - the very fires of Hell rained down upon me.

There are probably people on this board today who participated in that debate, who were LGBT themselves or were sworn allies (which I like to hope I also am), who came down on me like a building...and you know what? They were 100% right and I was 100% wrong. It was a shit stupid ugly thing to say; in the heat of the argument, I got lost in the forest and hit a damn tree.

But I didn't get banned. I got SCHOOLED, and flatly said grew as a human being thanks to that schooling. It would not have happened had they banned me. I needed to be here to eat my words, and I did.

Everyone ****s up.

That's my argument.

Poor Pitt.

It's impossible to school a lib on anything that doesn't advance the lib agenda.

Also, to a liberal, being "schooled" just means being defeated by a superior self-righteousness. A half-Apache, half-black gay Vietnam vet amputee could win any DU argument just by jotting down his bio. Arguments? Logic? No need when you have the magic skin tone and a willing cornhole.

Found this which contains a bit of a slap fight. http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=6788192

43. I know we do not see eye to eye

but when you are correct, you are correct.

I do not alert. It is mostly a waste of my time, but I confronted both "jokers."

I do not care how angry they are... annal rape jokes are not funny. But I expect nothing to happen. After all Walker is a republican... otherism at it's finest.

69. I guess our understanding of the english language is different

and some people will rationalize all.

Not that this shocks me at all. This is DU after all.

It is clear as day. At least to those of us who are not infected by partisanship...

I will repeat this once again. The law has more than just a few issues. Wishing to push a wand up Walker's ass is the precise definition of annal rape. For your pleasure here you go/

Rape is the commission of unlawful sexual intercourse or unlawful sexual intrusion. Rape laws in the United States have been revised over the years, and they vary from state to state.

Have a good evening, we are beyond done.

I believe, if I have correctly translated the posts, that nads may have actually made a point in one of the posts, but who knows. I'm under the weather so my translation may not be up to snuff.

Then there's the below in which she informs the DUmp that she just gives the crumbs these days. http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=6788424

I suppose annal rape is like when you only do it once a year.

Or maybe it's that damn auto-correct again.

Apparently the cousin's familiar with Tacitus's Annals of Imperial Rome.

I've heard that it was the Anals of Imperial Rome that led to Rome's eventual downfall.   :rotf:

There're some amusing parts in nads' posts, e.g. "understanding of the english language," but like flippy I think she posted something more or less true. Many DU-folks' "principles" and preachments are partisanly discerned and practiced.

I imagined dinner at gNads' house.

Tijuana donkey meat, smuggled across the border, fried until it's well-done, then cooked for 10 minutes more. Served with latkes, canned salsa verde, and a glass of Manischewitz.
