Sometimes a picture really does say it f*cking all.
A beggar runs alongside King George V’s coach (1920).

Well, 95 years old, anyway. I mean, how much of a loser do you have to be to get riled up over a generations-old picture of people in a completely different country? (http://www.democraticunderground.com/10026770048)
I guess when you're neough of a loser to have 30,000 posts on an internet board, anything goes.

A 100 year old photo? Typical DUmmies. :mental:

If that alleged beggar saw what beggars would become on DU, he'd probably never stop vomiting.

Why don't the libs go back 2,000 years ?
Then they can quote the greatest prophet who ever lived.
I guess they just find the truth unpalatable and hard to swallow that we will always have the poor with us.
That's because in free countries the poor want to be poor, are comfortable being poor, and are content being poor.
Then again the poor in our country live like royalty compared to the poor of almost all of the rest of the world.

Sometimes a picture really does say it all, but not in the way the DUmmy intends.
In the picture, a beggar holds his hat out to the government, demanding money he has not earned.
A perfect microcosm of the Democrat Party's vision for America.

They do when it's necessary.
Progs will travel back in time only as far as they feel they need to in order to justify their position on any subject. In this instance it was 80 years ago.
When talking about race relations the Progs might only go back as far as 50 years but have been known to make the leap back 200 years ago to justify things like Ferguson.
If Obamacare is involved then and only then do they invoke the name of Jesus...but in a perverted way to try and claim He...like them...was a Socialist at heart.

"A text out of context is a pretext." Actually, arc1's comment "does say it f*cking all" ... about his/her gross ignorance of history. Some of what (s)he apparently does not know:
* in 1920, England's and Europe's economies were shattered by war - vast devastation, millions of working age men killed;
* in 1920, England's and Europe's economies were further disrupted by the world-wide influenza epidemic that killed further millions of people;
* in 1920, England and Europe were absorbing and accommodating millions of vets with severe disabilities;
* in 1920, England's and Europe's economies were accommodating millions of demobilized vets, many of whom went straight from secondary school classrooms to the battlefield via basic training camps;
* in 1920, England's and Europe's economies were adjusting to the near absence of two major regional agricultural and industrial players, Russia and Germany.
Just off the top of my head ...

And of course the penny arcade primitive ignores the probable fact that if such a thing were moved a hundred years forward, and the characters in the carriage Obozo and Mooch-elle, well, their high highnesses would show even more righteous indignation at a beggar for spoiling their ride.
Make no mistake about it; Obozo and Mooch-elle don't give a damn about the poor and lowly.

[Cynical] In the bizarro-world of American poverty, many/most poor people would be too fat and out of shape to run after Barack and Mooch-chelle's carriage. [/Cynical]

If King Putt and Moochelle Antoinette were in that coach, the Secret Service would kill the beggar for threatening Their Majesties with an assault hat.

18. Maybe he's giving the king $1000 for the opportunity to tell him something
that will go in one ear and out the other.

I think Hildabeast said it best..."Get to the back of the line peasant". I added the part about peasant.

That beggar is legitimate.
The Big Guy checked him out.

Beggar/stripper.
He is begging the King for a sawbuck so he can wipe with.

That picture was quite the eye-opener. Beggars used to have to get out and hustle a little before the invention of wishadoo.

Which is why the DUmmy was not known to exist in 1920. Even the beggars had to work.

That running beggar had never heard of Tucson.

I'm curious how many precious government calories the bum wasted for his photo op?
