I don't get rich people in so-called "high tax" states who complain about taxes.

Their definition of a "high tax" state being basically any state with a state income tax.

I know some of these people personally. They live in a "high tax" state. They've got a large house, luxury cars, a vacation home, they take fancy trips, fly first class, etc. They've got way more than I do, and I live in a so-called "low tax" state without a state income tax.

And yet they'll complain bitterly about paying taxes as if they're somehow being taxed into poverty.

They're rich before taxes. They're rich after taxes. I seriously don't get it at all.

Do they just like having something to complain about?

Sound if someone is jealous.

Of course the DUmmie doesn't understand taking someone's hard earned money and giving it to the ticks of our society.

High five.

The parasites hate their hosts; 'you had blood before we started sucking, and you have blood now. We will decide how much of your blood you need. It's wrong for you to resent us for sucking you.'

Parasites with a Borg mentality.
Resistance is futile.

H-5 hn and BD!

People don't love what they earned being stolen from them ...

By government, which is supposed to stop, not commit thievery ...

And given to parasites ...

Who believe themselves entitled to that stolen money!

How much a "rich" person has or what percentage is taken or whether they would "miss it" is irrelevant. Their money is being stolen and given to parasites - to bureaucrats and to the improvident!

I still can't get a liberal to explain to me how raising taxes on Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, or the Koch Brothers makes my life better.

What part of someone wanting to keep more of the money they make for their own use confuses the DUmmies?

Because in their warped world view, they see that money as somehow stolen from the poor.  Being poor means making poor decisions.  It's somehow not the welfare mom's fault that she couldn't keep her legs closed when she was 14 so somebody has to pay for that.

The part about the money having been earned.

*sigh* yeah they have this completely bizzarro belief that the pool of money in the country is fixed and never grows and never shrinks it just gets shuffled around.

It's like saying that when I got promoted to SFC...that prevented some PFC from pinning on Specialist rank.   :thatsright:

All money belongs to the Government and only through their benevolence are you allowed to keep enough to maintain your sustenance.

I hope there is someone around with enough common decency to shoot me dead if I ever start believing that bs.

Common decency isn't common.
Especially for libs.
Neither is common courtesy.
Or common sense.
