You don't remember any claims about Clinnochio (our first black president) drugging his victims. That doesn't mean it didn't happen.

So far all I have seen in the Cosby case are unfounded allegations from some who settled lawsuits with the understanding they would keep silent about the terms of the settlement.

They love making repulsive, tasteless jokes about rape and molestation when the alleged culprit is a Republican/ conservative, or even just someone who they think they can associate with the right. If someone raises issue with these horrible, tasteless jokes, they accuse the detractor in question of having "No sense of humor."
If it's a leftist accused of rape or molestation, in contrast, nothing that could even vaguely be considered a joke about said leftist is allowed by them, and they either insist that the leftist in question is being framed by the right in an attempt to silence him/ her, or insist it's no big deal.
Liberal TV darling Seth MacFarlane regularly pukes out "jokes" on his shows relating to the rape of women and children, and 'Family Guy' even has not one but two major characters whose sole schtick is making the rape of women and the molestation of children seem funny and amusing (Quagmire and Herbert, respectively). They've even made and sold action figures of those characters, for God's sake! Yep, his shows portray conservatives, Christians, people who smoke, and people who serve in the military as horrible, pure- evil monsters and accuse the tobacco companies of "Morally bankrupting our society," yet simultaneously portray sexual predators as funny and amusing. I am genuinely surprised that there hasn't been more public outcry against MacFarlane and his revolting shows from advocacy/ support groups for victims of sexual assault.
