The Obama administration's racial comments/implications after incidents such as Trayvon Martin, Baltimore, etc., and singling out the police has created this "explosion" of homicides and anti-police sentiment. It to me is blatantly obvious that race relations have deteriorated under Obama's rule. For that matter, this county has deteriorated under Obama's rule. :fuelfire:

The double murder Thursday of a young mother and her 7-year-old boy brought Baltimore's bloody monthly homicide tally to 38, a figure that dwarfs that of similar-sized cities and even exceeds the total for the same period in New York.
Jennifer Jeffery-Browne, 31, and her son, Kester, were found shot to death in their southwest Baltimore home, leaving friends and family heartbroken and city officials scrambling to reverse a tide of carnage that began following the racially-charged death of a black man in police custody. Police say the way City Hall and the local prosecutor handled the Gray case, which sparked several days of rioting and looting and led to the indictments of six cops, has handcuffed them and emboldened criminals.

The Libs, Progs, MSM, and Victimology Industry have made doing police work well a high risk of being murdered, being beaten into disablement, and being prosecuted for political reasons. Police officers are not doing the highest risk work the neighborhoods where those risks are highest, pretty much as the residents of those neighborhoods have demanded. Why aren't the Libs, Progs, MSM, and residents celebrating their victory?

The Wall Street Journal is calling the dramatic end of America’s two-decade-long drop in crime “The Ferguson Effect.†Led behind the scenes by President Obama, America’s fraudulent civil rights leaders (Al Sharpton) and the mainstream media (especially CNN), worked together — starting with their lies in Ferguson — to launch hate campaigns against the police.
The result is an empowered criminal element and by extension a horrific increase in murders, shootings, and other violent crimes:
Gun violence is up more than 60% compared with this time last year, according to Baltimore police, with 32 shootings over Memorial Day weekend. May has been the most violent month the city has seen in 15 years.
In Milwaukee, homicides were up 180% … Through April, shootings in St. Louis were up 39%, robberies 43%, and homicides 25%. “Crime is the worst I’ve ever seen it,†said St. Louis Alderman Joe Vacarro at a May 7 City Hall hearing.
Murders in Atlanta were up 32%… Shootings in Chicago had increased 24% and homicides 17%. Shootings and other violent felonies in Los Angeles had spiked by 25%; in New York, murder was up nearly 13%, and gun violence 7%. …
Shooting incidents are up 500% in an East Harlem precinct compared with last year; in a South Central Los Angeles police division, shooting victims are up 100%.
And who are the victims here?
Not just the predominantly poor people who huddle in these cities, these are mostly black people.
