It absolutely is the best kind of exhausted.

It is so rewarding. Have you heard of the term biophilia? It's an area of study that examines the relationship between plants and people. Not surprisingly, there are many benefits to humans from being in contact with plants.

I find my outlook on life, while normally positive anyway, is elevated to nothing less than sheer joy when I get to work in my garden every day.

Working till you get stupid? So you're not working then because, judging by all of your posts Mo, you were born stupid and haven't improved in all of the years of your worthless life.

That would be 'Phytophilia,' leaving aside for now any possible connotation of sexual dysfunction involving the plant kingdom that often goes with the use of the suffix '-philia.'  'Biophilia' would mean both the plant and animal kingdoms.  And what you did to that poor chicken carcass and harmless vegetables with that vomit stew pic would pretty well exclude you from it.

I have this love affair with wheat, rice, corn, and potatoes ... :rotf:

Carrots, green beans, peas, even broccoli and squash ...

NJCher does things with an eggplant that would frighten a Tijuana hooker, and she has been banned from the produce section of every grocery store in town.

When considering NJCher's opinion, it's good to remember she was so proud of her puke stew that she posted a photo of it.

It's 2015 and all was well on the farm. Then suddenly that old tractor, it done broke down.  And that ol barn, it needs a new roof. The cows have run off, the pigs are hungry and the well pump, well it's busted.

I need to get me some affordable help to pick the the carrots before they rot and the bank forecloses. So much going on at the farm, I think I'll eat some dirt.   :-)
