Title: an open letter to NYC_SKP
Post by: franksolich on May 21, 2015, 01:07:49 PM
Hey, Skips.  Sir.

We need to talk, before you make more of an ass of yourself than you already have.

Last night, because I couldn’t sleep, I went to Skins’s island to see what was going on, and kept bumping into you, soapboxing about a former First Lady who’s been designated by the bosses of the Democrat party to be your next candidate for president.

You’ve been doing that a lot, haranguing against the Inevitable.

In fact, you’ve talked of little else but her lately.

For whatever reasons, she’s your worst nightmare.

You’re nuts, dude.

Now, from the perspective of decent and civilized people, Hillary Clinton as president would indeed be a nightmare—not quite as bad as the current occupant of the White House has been, but still, pretty bad—and we’d like to see it not happen.

But you’re not one of us, Skips; from your side, there’s nothing for which you fantasize, lust, salivate, more so than the utter destruction of all that made the United States of America the greatest country in the history of mankind.

And so you need to be cheering her on, not denigrating her, dude.

You’ve been insisting, Skips, that there’s other Democrats more worthy of the Democrat nomination for president than the Inevitable One, but that’s just so much hot air.

You know as well as franksolich does, dude, that there’s not a dime’s worth of difference between the former First Lady, the snagglepuss from Massachusetts, the senescent old fart from Vermont, the nerd from Maryland, and whoever else might be running on the Democrat ticket.

Any one’s just the same as the other.

But you might as well get behind the one who has the best chance of winning in 2016—I’m not saying she’ll win, but she appears to have the best chance of winning, compared with these other Bozos.

I’m truly mystified, Skips.  You should’ve been one of the first to jump on the bandwagon.

I kind of doubt, though, that it has anything to do with politics or ideology.

I rather more think it’s the fear a weak man has about a strong woman.

You may wish to ruminate upon that thought for a while, dude.
