Well hi

gotta say this is a good thing for the race. Though we will not endorse anybody... well except money (I think that such an endorsement would make a point to readers about CU), I am glad to see a candidate running for the Presidency who is TRYING HARD to bring back the discussion to policy.

I have been following Bernie for years. I personally think he does have a chance. not a large one, but a chance nonetheless. The reason for not a large one has to do with MAJOR media, who will do all they can because of who benefits if the status quo is maintained.

But this will be an interesting race to watch, at the very least.

1. I think he's got a good chance, and I think the media might just not bury him, he's that compelling.

Frankly, I think it's the worst thing that could happen to Clinton and to the GOP.

He speaks to a huge swath of America on matters of economic equity.

The others can't touch him.

^^^RAOTFLMAO

3. Oh I agree he is bad news

to the usual suspects... and anecdotally I Have heard people you would not expect to know WHO bernie sanders is, well tell you all you ever wanted to know... but for multiple reasons, MONEY... lots of it, and how corporate media works...

And I will gladly eat that prediction by the way, and see him sworn in as POTUS. Perhaps after the 2008 promises I am not willing to do more than just hope, if you wish.

More, but I'm too tired to bring it over.

Run Bernie, run. Run Elizabeth, run. With the inclusion of the Hildabeast, that is three fruitcakes that could beat a full house.

I have no idea what she is trying to say, none whatsoever.

I'm sure that somewhere in her mexipolish little brain it makes sense, maybe some clever insight too subtle for all but her wisest readers.

But I don't think so.

This is what a DUmmy of the Year is made of.

I think she meant "You People".

12. I need to do my media request for all candidates

I stated it here on GD. I expect two candidates to say yes, for vastly different reasons:

Bernie Sanders and Ben Carson... perhaps Huckabee

:rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:  They don't speak Mexi-Polish.

Woohoo!

Why is the Big Guy excited about Crazy Bernie?

Isn't he expecting to be dead before the election?

Maybe he forgot.

Bernie will be heartbroken to learn that he isn't getting the coveted reportingsandiego.com endorsement.

He has a chance to get that endorsement if he sucks up to nadin.

Of course, all the candidates will probably be coming in for interviews.

I think she meant "You People".

Who are you calling "you people?"  I prefer "white devil" when being addressed.

I think she meant "You People".

Speaking seriously (for some reason, I must still be under-caffeinated), Spanish syntax places the adjective after the noun it describes, where English places the adjective first. E.G.:

Cielos buenos!

Good heavens!

Also, in Spanish the adjective is singular or plural depending on whether the noun is singular or plural.

Anyway, maybe nads still "thinks" in Spanish and translates her "thoughts" into English. Having a good command of a second (third, etc.) language entails being able to switch to thinking in that language when necessary.

Any guess on what that 'third language' is?  Sanskrit?  Swahilli?  Attic Greek?  Mohawk?  Incan?  Tagalog?  All of those?

I'm not entirely convinced nads has a first language ( :rimshot: ). Given her Mexican heritage, maybe she speaks Nahuatl; Quechua, the language of the Incas, is spoken much farther south.

I've been told that my paternal grandfather (who died several years before I was born) was fluent in Russian, German, and Swiss German as well as English. He was a Volga German who emigrated to the US and lived here for more than 4 decades. So the odd language/dialect in that group is the Swiss German, which his family (my Dad, Uncles, and Aunts) found incomprehensible when they heard it.
