I am bisexual and I want to come out to my hating fundamentalist
Christian family. I can't stand their bullshit anymore. Both my brother and sister in law posted pro-those people who discriminated against making a cake and flowers for 2 lesbians and 2 gay men's weddings.
I've ranted about why they are so obsessed about homosexuals, why they follow THAT ONE RULE in the Old Testament and other things that I'm sure people are aware of.
They saying ****ing nothing! Zero! I've had discussions with my brother over email though.
He is a Presbyterian minister and so is she.
I had a relationship with a woman for 8 years when I was in my 30's and she died. I was so devastated that night that I called my brother thinking that he might be of help, (dumb) My sister in law got on the phone and was nice to me but then after we got off the phone my brother called back and yelled at me for walking them up!!!!!!!!
But a few years after she died I started feeling myself going back the straight zone again which I actually found upsetting. But I have not had to deal with personal things with them since. And my brother and I have a better relationship now since out mom had a stroke and we had to start talking and we both have been trying to be nice to each other.
But I have ****ing had it. Maybe my brother made a mistake by posting the first one about the cake fiasco but the sister in law should have known better because of the ranting I went on about the one my brother posted. Hers is from yesterday.
So how do I do this? I'm scared.

Her brother had the temerity to post on FB what he believes in ?! Horrors!!! I'd love to hear why she thinks that her believing something obligates them to believe the same or keep silent.

It'll be tough, but unfriend them on FB. They won't get a Notification. Then change your phone number. And the next time you move, don't notify them.
But I suppose quietly dropping out of their lives doesn't make the dramatic confrontation and exit she really wants

There is a Presbyterian denomination that truly is Fundamentalist, as in a founder, J. Gresham Machen, was a leader in the Fundamentalist movement. According to their website, they have about 200 congregations in the US. I don't know whether they have women ministers, but I doubt it. So it's a near certainty that M1969 is using "fundamentalist" as an epithet means little more than they hates and despises them and wants everyone who reads her rant to know they also should hate and despise her brother and SIL.

Yeah, "coming out" to her brother and SIL would all but certainly be news like announcing Mooch-Chelle is a healthy-eating-hypocrite would be news.

If it's genetic, a test could be developed to detect it in utero, in which case many, probably most, would be aborted.
But any scientist who pursued that would be destroyed, because grant politics are the lifeblood of science.
That's how we got global warming.

It's most likely a combination of a genetic predisposition paired with environmental influences. You have a young boy with a fascination with barbies and glitter that ends up spending way too much time with an aunt that thinks he looks adorable in southern belle dresses and you have a ticking time bomb of fruity drinks and interior decorating.
