Title: Texas to World Court: Execution still on!
Post by: PatriotGame on July 18, 2008, 01:30:45 PM
na na na hey hey goodbye

Quote
Texas is refusing to bow to yesterday's World Court order to stay the Aug. 5 lethal injection of convicted rapist-killer and illegal alien Jose Medellin.

The highest U.N. court insisted that five scheduled executions of Mexicans be immediately halted until the cases undergo further review. Mexico's government filed a petition with the court last month because it said the men had been deprived of assistance from their consulates following their arrests.

snippy....

Randy Ertman, father of Jennifer, a 14-year-old girl Medellin raped and murdered, criticized the World Court for attempting to intervene.

"The world court don't mean diddly," he said. "This business belongs in the state of Texas. The people of the state of Texas support the execution. We thank them. The rest of them can go to h-ll."

Why don't they hang these scumbags? Lethal injection is the *****'s way out. The scumbag raped then murdered a 14 year-old girl. He should be impaled then dumped back across in his homeland.

Adolfo Peña, father of Elizabeth, a 16-year-old girl Medellin also raped and murdered, concurred with Ertman.

"I believe we've been through all the red tape we can go through," he told the Houston Chronicle. "It's time to rock and roll."

Hell yeah!

Good!

I wonder how those scumbags would do under the Mexican justice system? Imagine if they had been in Mexico illegally and then raped and murdered two little girls.....they would already be worm food.

I think we should show some respect towards the Mexican government.  Remember when that American kid, Michael Fay, was sentenced in Singapore to six forceful application of a cane to his exposed buttocks?  Remember when President Clinton requested leniency and the Singapore court reduced Fay's punishment to four applications out of respect to the US presideent?  Don't you think the civilized thing to do would be for Gov. Perry to offer the concerns of the Mexican government and the world court some sort of respect too?

I suggest, as a nod of respect to our national friends and neighbors in Mexico - and to show respect for the world court, that the governor offer to eliminate Sodium thiopental from the lethal drug cocktail usually administered to the condemned.

We must show the world that the USA, and especially Texas, can be diplomatic and sensitive to the international community.  It's the right thing to do.

Lowered feet-first into a vat of boiling acid, 'Man from U.N.C.L.E.'-style would be fine with me, but the Supreme Court keeps going back to that dang 8th Amendment and forbidding us from innovating.

The Constitution forbids cruel and unusual...  that being the case, we need to make this usual, thus conforming to the law.   :thatsright:

I think a sledge hammer to the head is enough.  We just need to let a blindfolded person do it pinata style.

Houstonians like me and Ptarmigan remember well this utterly heinous and senseless massacre of these poor innocent girls.

It will never be forgotten.

Medellin will be executed.

The World Court can suck my bean bag.

I remember it at the time as well.  I honestly can't figure out why these vermin are still alive.  They should have been offed some time ago.
