I try not to ask for too much around here, especially since others here have so much more important, more urgent, and more critical needs that need top priority attention. This is just a little request, and certainly no life-or-death type of thing.

But I figured, maybe since it's Mother's Day and I'm about to turn 62 a few days afterwards, maybe I can be Queen for a Day and make a request.

My kid's band, ACIDIC, is in a music video battle on Loudwire.com - and their video, "Chicago," needs votes! You can only vote once an hour and - even with a bunch of visitors here at the house, all with their laptops, evidently this voting looks at only the server or whatever - so whenever I vote (or ONE other person here does), that kills any chance that everybody else here can vote that hour, in their own right.

There's a couple of competitors who are gaining on us. PLEASE, if you have a moment, vote for ACIDIC's "Chicago" video. Since they made it to the Top Ten, that means their video is viewable right there on the Loudwire.com page with videos from a LOT bigger bands, and you don't even have to search for it. ACIDIC is at #5 and holding - at least for now.

Please forgive me for begging, because I know it certainly does NOT outrank some of the appeals for help that have been posted here on DU. But it's pretty easy and straightforward, and it doesn't cost anything, either. Plus - you might enjoy the video! It's PG-rated - no dirty words, and it can be played in anyone's presence.
