15. Looking at many sources this morning
What do you think happened? I have read some leftist critique that Labor lost it's way. Frankly, I'm worried that we could see the same type of result here in 2016. That is one reason I am pushing so hard for Bernie because at least he doesn't waffle or spend too much time trying to compromise with idiots, and he speaks very clearly about income inequality. I am hoping that will resonate with people. I really don't think I can cope with Scott Walker as president.
A Will Pitt fan, I see.Thinking the same thing. :cheers1:

I stand back in awe of the true intellectualism of the batshit crazy left.
It's tough to decide what a leftist has more of; tolerance, genius, or thievery.

UK Conservatives Win a Stunning VictoryWashington Free Beacon (http://freebeacon.com/politics/uk-conservatives-win-a-stunning-victory/)
“It is a victory most Tories could never have dreamed of, and a defeat beyond the nightmares of most of their opponents.â€
That’s how Owen Jones, a columnist for The Guardian and a supporter of Ed Miliband’s Labour Party reacted to last night’s results. In a stunning victory, David Cameron’s Conservatives won 24 new seats. They now have 331 seats in Parliament, a majority of seven. Miliband has resigned as Labour’s leader. And never have pre-election polls been so wrong. This was Britain’s version of Truman’s shock 1948 presidential win. No one saw it coming.
In the run up to the election, the polls suggested a basic dead heat between Cameron and Miliband. While some expected the Conservatives to win more seats than Labour—and thus have the first chance of forming a coalition government with another party—the Conservatives were expected to lose seats overall. Labour’s abiding hope was that the Conservatives would therefore lack the seats necessary to form a governing coalition. Labour believed they could then step into that vacuum. But very few analysts expected the Conservatives to have any chance of governing outside of a new coalition. Just watch this exchange from the BBC two weeks ago: asserting his pursuit of majority, Cameron meets open disdain.
Anti-Tory protesters deface war monument on WhitehallUK Telegraph (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/11595097/Police-officer-injured-as-anti-Tory-protesters-gather-outside-Downing-Street-and-Whitehall.html)
Downing Street has condemned the defacing of a war monument on Whitehall by anti-austerity protesters as “despicableâ€.
The words “f*** Tory scum†were daubed in red paint on the Women’s War Memorial in Whitehall on Saturday, just a stone’s throw from a VE Day celebration concert at London’s Horse Guards Parade.
Four police officers and one other member of police staff were injured, with two needing hospital treatment, as campaigners descendedon Downing Street to protest against the new Conservative government.
Hard-left activists desecrated a war memorial to the gallant sacrifice of women who served during the Second World War as anarchists objecting to Thursday's election result protested outside Downing Street.
A mindless thug daubed 'F*** Tory Scum' in red paint on the memorial in a sickening display of contempt on the 70th anniversary weekend of VE Day.
The Royal British Legion today condemned the vandalism brandishing it as a 'senseless act'.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed they are investigating the vandalism which formed part of the un-authorised protest which left two police officers requiring hospital treatment.
