So today we learn that the Maryland governor is rolling toll rates back to the 1970s.
What a great guy! Yippee! Save a few bucks. How wonderful.
Of course, in the wake of this, there is no doubt the Road Fairy will take care of the state's crumbling infrastructure.
Maybe if the rats before him did not spend all the money in the first place your roads would be fine.

CA has been stealing CA'ians' gas tax and car reg $$ and spending it on mass transit and other non-highway crap almost as long as I've been eligible to vote! Jerry Brown began it - on a large scale, if not literally - during his first regime-of-ineptitude. CA highways are a disgrace, but it's not for our gas tax and car reg being low!
As for the mass-scale boondoggle more commonly known as the new SF-Oakland Bay Bridge, I'm almost as afraid to dig into it as I would be nervous to drive it daily! Engineering-by-Planned-Parenthood!

FUN FACT #1:
Toll roads and bridges were/are all sold to the public that they will pay for the infrastructure and then be free but they never are because gots to have them sweet, sweet government jobs, graft, and democrat party corruption.

I think you'll agree that "mismanaged social programs" is repetitive and redundant. But we must speak clearly for our DU fans.
