Pamela Geller made a mistake. She tested the First Amendment and the First Amendment lost.
This fighter for Israel, this battler against Radical Islam can seem to find no friends after what she did.
From all across the Liberal dials, plus The New York Times, came blasts of outrage against Geller for being “provocative†and “asking for trouble.â€
But Conservatives? They too piled on. Donald Trump, Bill O’Reilly, Bill Donohue of the Catholic League, Don Imus – all those and others want her scalp.
Fox News anchor Martha MacCallum was especially harsh during this morning’s interview with Geller.
Better, they allege, if Geller would hush up and forget the First Amendment. Safer, they suggest, if we submit and become a nation of wimps.
Seems that we have trained ourselves to be compliant, passive, easily cowed and entirely too close to being cowards.
If freedom of speech is not worth fighting for – what will we give up next?

Too many Americans are willing to kneel and offer their throat to the blade. Not just the Moslem's blade; but the thug's blade, and even the government's blade.

Yeah, I wouldn't exactly call them Conservatives...especially the three world-class arrogant, egotistical blowhards listed there: O'Reilly, Imus, and Trump.

Gotta remember the MSM thinks anyone slightly to the right of Hillary is conservative.

O'R might - and I do mean might - be to the right of center, but he's wa-a-a-ay too Populist to be conservative. And he has a bit of a messianic complex. he fancies himself the champion of "the little guy" in a Populist big-guys-vs.-little-guys world.
Trump is kind of in the center. He makes conservative-libertarian noises on economic stuff, but isn't above doing government entrepreneurship when it suits him. As best I can tell, he's left-libertarian on social issues. As for foreign policy, he might lean conservative (or at least away from Libs & Progs).
Don Imus is a more-liberal-than-not who hangs out with mostly liberals, as best I can tell. Maybe one could call him a designated-driver liberal.

Never thought Bill Donohue was even conservative to begin with. Bill O'Reilly is right on some issues. Don Imus is a leftist.

Bill Donohue claims to be a good Catholic.
I have never seen the Catholic church endorse him though.

I wonder if some of you guys don't have him confused with whacko lib Phil Donahue. Phil hasn't gotten any air time since Geraldo "Jerry" Rivera got hit in the face with a chair.

He also claims to be a good Catholic.
His fading into obscurity has been a boon to mankind.
